“Good location, good ambience”

Good location, right next to the mall and some restaurants, easy to get to UCA bus terminal.

“Taking advantage from a “loose jewel"”

The room was Ok, though without a TV and air conditioner, but the fan matched it. It was quite clean, insect protected, .Unfortunately whoever stayed in the adjacent room made a huge rack in the morning, banging the door violently.The beds were good, the lighting excellent, the bathroom quite capable.

Everythin fine, except ...

The swimming pool and kitchen area is nice. Bob (the investor/manager) is an interesting guy to chat with full of good information.

“City stopover”

Quiet location, close to the shopping mall and eateries. Good security .The pool and surrounding area was lovely and you could use the kitchen. Breakfast included was basic but fine. The owners were very helpful with information regarding my ongoing travel. It was an excellent stopover for a night but I would have been happy to stay longer.

“Just Perfect”

The Hosts Are incredible and run the place with a lot of passion! Everything is very clean and just so beautifully designed! The host even played guitar for us on a cozy evening with cold beer! Thanks bob and see you next time :)

Comfortable beds , quiet atmosphere. Pool was refreshing and the hostel was clean and very safe . Staff was extremely helpful and a nice Canadian man . Would stay here again .

“Nice hostel with high standards”

Nice big rooms with big bathroom and outside space. A good neighbourhood.

Its proximity to a big shopping mall and the Intercontinental Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Liked the city guide they publish. The individual room is good size.

“Did and would go back”

Stayed here twice and got somewhat different impressions due to poor (city-wide!) water pressure during my 2nd visit. Don’t know if anything can be done to help that, e.g. replace the tap to at least have 2 sources of water in the otherwise well-equipped kitchen and introduce some storing facilities to ensure the amazing pool is regularly refilled. Regardless, found the hostel to be super comfortable – safe and clean throughout, with great beds, rooms sufficiently cooled by fans, lockers for valuables, OK wi-fi, and a great outdoor common area. The owners and Carlos and Gina were a brilliant company, helped with all info, and made me feel welcome.

I really had a wonderful stay at Managua backpackers. The management Bob and Michael were very friendly and helpful. My only problem was not staying for longer but I will definately return and stay longer next time. Thank you for your excellent service.

“Everything you need, nothing especially amazing”

There's nothing to complain about. Nice staff, kitchen, locker's, everything you need in a hostel. The beds where quite comfortable as well.

“Good for one night, but very hot”

It was a good hostel for one night. Bed was pretty comfortable, the staff was super nice and they could facilitate an airport taxi for you. It was also close to the drop-off location from the shuttle and it was close to the mall for dinner.

“No water. Owner tells you when to go to bed”

Basically zero water, showers barely worked, not enough showers to begin with, water pressure is trash just drips from the faucet forget about showering. The owner walks into the dorm and turns of the light when HE wants and not when the people staying in the dorm wants, tells everyone when they need to be in their room. Saw he told some other guy who reviewed the same it was because of noise complaints which is not true, our dorm was dead quiet.
