The kidness of the staff. Mana Backpackers is good if you don't want to spend a lot of money in accommodation, I recommended 100% .

Total rip off. Booking.com should be held responsible for our struggle at this hotel. 9pm we had to leave the hotel and su $900 to move to mana resort . Booking.com is liars .

A lovely island we are happy to have visited, we met so genuine and kind people working And villagers living there. And BRIAN! What a man! He was juggling just about entirely alone in the kitchen trying to fix everything and make it great for all his guests even when other things limited him such as power failures or lack of merchendise on the island. He really swinged it, hold on to that lovely man! Hat´s of to you Brian. Location couldnt be better, so near the lovely beach. I

It’s location on Mana Island. It’s a beautiful island with tons of nice beaches (a few of which I had to myself most days) and sea life, I really recommend. Plus it’s super close to a lot of cool places such as Castaway island where they filmed the film and still host Survivor episodes. There’s some very nice dive and snorkelling spots, and Cloud9 (a floating pizza bar) are all cheap excursions available at the hostel, as well as island hopping. The food in the restaurant and staff where all very friendly and helpful, as where the locals. Things to note is that this is a simple,and traditional hostel perfect for those on a budget. I only stayed in the dorms so I can’t speak for the whole place. So for the dorm, there is no hot water in the showers, not that you’ll need it as Fiji is very hot. The mattresses are thin so if you need a bit more cushion maybe I’d ask for a pillow or a thicker one. There will be animals everywhere as with all the Pacific, so geckos, ants etc, and lots of dogs everywhere (not in the rooms though). The wifi is only available by reception and in the restaurant, so doesn’t reach the rooms. The free water available is collected in a rainwater tank behind the shop as there is no drinking water in the taps. I from the UK, and most other Europeans have been completely fine drinking it, but just be aware, that Australians in particular often got sick from drinking it so if you think you may have a sensitive stomach note you will need to have money to buy the bottles of water (or just use a kettle). Also the electricity turns off in the rooms between 2-5pm. The meals in the restaurant where always amazing and very big portions, as a vegetarian it was nice to have options. Pricing for everything is super cheap and the location is amazing and so for that I’d very much recommend.
