Oh my goodness what isn’t there to like? Firstly it’s in the most beautiful little quiet village that I’ve ever stayed in, nestled in some mountains not too far from the autoroute. We asked for a ground floor room for my 94 year old father in a wheelchair chair and another room with twin beds for my daughter and I. The owner, Emma opened up her two self contained apartments for us, to meet our requests. The apartments are so well maintained, furnished and equipped. They are comfortable, clean and fit in so well with the local surroundings. Emma is an artist and many of her paintings and sculptures are in the garden and property. All the kitchen equipment you could possibly want and the cupboards are full of condiments etc, all available to use. Emma is a real delight and such a gentle, sweet and trusting person. I could not fault this this place, my only wish is that it was for more than one night. I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed. I would recommend though that you have fresh food with you for the first night, until you have the chance to do a shop. I can’t wait to return to see Emma again and stay in her lovely accommodation, she lives there above her art studio and she has her own front door to the property.

The apartment is terrifically located in the centre of the village, with good access to parking for b the apartment and access to walking trails. The apartment was very comfortable and the outdoor eating and barbecue facilities were much appreciated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Art De Vivre en Couleurs in Malleval. The spacious bedrooms and lovely bathroom provided plenty of comfort. The small kitchen is equipped with the basic necessities, enough to prepare simple meals. The garden is a wonderful place to sit and relax. The location in the beautiful, centuries-old village of Malleval makes the stay extra special.

Emma is delightful, very kind & helpful & a brilliant artist - using branches & re-cycled plastic. Her style & use of colours in the Gite & the terrace & garden is wonderful, & in a little corner of calm & tranquility . She provided a lovely breakfast for us & went out of her way to ensure we had everything we could want. The little medieval village is a gem - especially after the awful industrial towns & cities en route. Thank you Emma !
