Overview
Set at 1700 metres above sea level, Hotel Edelweiss is right on the Schlinig cross-country ski runs. Offering panoramic mountain views, this family-run property features a traditional restaurant. The Edelweiss Hotel is ideal for every season with lots of hiking and cycling opportunities in summer. During winter, the Watles ski slopes are just 3 km away. Each with a furnished balcony overlooking the mountains, rooms here also feature a seating area with sofa. They also have parquet floors and satellite TV channels. Homemade cheese, cakes and jams and other sweet and savoury items are served as part of the buffet breakfast each morning. It can be enjoyed outdoors in good weather. Serving South Tyrol specialities, the hotel's restaurant is open to the public at lunch and dinner. Buses to Malles Venosta and to Müstair in Switzerland stop just 10 metres away.

Incredibly beautiful location, a stunning view from the balcony, everything comfortable and clean. The hotel manager was wonderful and we had a great, reasonably priced set meal in the restaurant. We'll look forward to going back!

Check in was smooth, land lady was very friendly and spoke good English to help us, the room was quite big with x2 bedrooms and was quite modern inside, beds were comfy and the bathroom was also modern with a great shower and underfloor heating. The restaurant was great with good food, friendly staff and other guests.

“A warm mountain welcome”
The owner made us very welcome. The room was well appointed and the views were amazing. Evening meal in the restaurant was a menu of the day, all prepared fresh with plenty of salad. It is a bit of a drive up the hill, but the views are more than worth it. The town is lovely and quiet with some beautiful buildings

A friendly family run hotel in a stunning location. It was also really helpful that we could get a meal at the hotel as we arrived early evening and there are not many options local to the hotel. The food was simple but very well prepared. The locals seem to frequent the restaurant too - the hotel is clearly popular. The buffet breakfast choice was very good.

“Absolutely Fabulous Hotel in the countryside.”
This Hotel is in a quiet, remote, rural area. Loved the peace and tranquility, sitting on the balcony admiring the views and watching the farmers at work. The staff were wonderful and friendly. There isn't much in the village, but the hotel has a bar and restaurant, which I would highly recommend. We had a 4 course evening meal for €25 each and it was fantastic. We were on a 14 night tour of Europe and this was our favourite Hotel.
