Everything was perfect from the very beginning. When we arrived at the property, Giannis was there waiting to welcome us and show us to our room. The space was beautiful, spotless, and they even left us complimentary wine, which was such a lovely touch. The room had everything we could possibly need, including coffee and all toiletries. We had forgotten to bring beach towels and asked where we could buy some, but they kindly provided us with towels instead, which we really appreciated. On the day we arrived, it was their daughter’s birthday, and they generously offered us some cake to try — such a warm and thoughtful gesture. The location is also perfect, very close to the beach, and they even provide free beach umbrellas for guests to use. Throughout our entire stay, they truly treated us like family. On my last day, after my brother had already left, they even invited me to join them for a drink so I wouldn’t feel alone. It’s rare to experience such genuine hospitality. They also gave us amazing restaurant recommendations and suggestions for places to visit around the area, which made our trip even better. I would 100% recommend Olympus Studios to anyone visiting Malia, and I’m already looking forward to coming back in the future. “perfect for family with kids”

The hosts were amazingly friendly and helpful! My kids enjoyed the swimming pool for hours. The small bar, which the host opens every day at 20:00, is the perfect excuse to chat with him and the other guests. Potamos beach is a five minutes walk and it is spectacular ! A very nice Taverna (Eva) is 10 minutes walk.

The accommodation is near to a nice beach and a few good tavernas. The room is as in the pictures and has a big terrace. The host, Iliana, is very friendly and the communication with her went very smoothly. We were able to check in earlier which was nice.

The best hosts I've ever had in my life, exceptional service, we felt like family, they took us to a Cuban night because we are Cuban, they prepared a dinner for all the guests, It was an unforgettable experience. They showered us with attention, even lending us their bikes to explore the area. In short, I highly recommend this place. If you want to meet Greeks, spend time with them, and feel like part of their family, this is the place for you. I'll be back with Yannis and Iliana every time I return to Malia. Illana and Yannis were the most welcoming of couples We had booked another hotel originally but turned out to be a disaster. Booked Olympic Studio the same night we arrived In the other property. turned up to the studios earlier than check In, illana was the best host, let us leave our case whilst she got our room ready The place was immaculately clean the room was amazing, has the best 6 nights away. Only wished we booked with them originally We arrived as strangers left as friends

The owners are very welcoming, my studio was very stylish and cozy, like a home with everything I could need. I was offered a bike to use which I appreciated a lot, as the coast and beaches where then just a few minutes away. Evenings offer a nice and warm opportunity to gather in a cute bar with comfortable hanging cocoons. Thanks!

We had such a great time talking to everybody living in Olympus Studios on evenings sitting outside together. Yannis and Iliana are so caring and good people and have a lot of humor. As two 20 yearl old girls, we had an amazing time. We always felt very safe in the area. We took 5 minutes to reach the beaches by bike. The beaches were beautiful and the water was clear and not cold at all (end of September). And like 10 minutes by bike into Malia. There are also a lot of delicious restaurants nearby. Iliana also made us personlised breakfasts every day. Iliana and Yannis' place was great. Our room was always clean and super cozy. We spent a lot of time on the hanging swings outside our room, enjoying the personalised breakfasts Iliana made us every day. The atmosphere at Olympus Studios is truly amazing. And the care and thought Yannis and Iliana put into everything is incredible. We really were treated like family. Yannis and Iliana, thank you so much for everything, Petra and Martina

“The best stay ever in Crete,period.”

The best stay in Crete ever. Here you don't come to a hotel, apartment or bungalow, you come to stay with your family. This is how I felt after two minutes, Iliana greeted me with a smile and I immediately knew it was a good choice. The room exceeded my expectations, clean, lots of space, great garden with limes and hot tube. Everything you need at home is here, towels, shampoo, washing gel, hair conditioner, hair dryer, kitchen equipped with a coffee machine and utensils. The breakfast selection list is in the room, choose what you like and it will be delivered to your room at which suits you. Two friendly dogs that will make your stay more pleasant for those who miss their pets at home. Clean swimming pool, great bar where chef Giannis makes the best milkshakes in Malia and at good prices. You want to go to the beach and you don't have an umbrella or sunscreen, don't worry, everything is here. The beach is a few minutes from Olympus and there are shops and restaurants on the way. The bed was so comfortable that I slept like a baby. The hosts are wonderful people, nice, hard-working, if you need anything, just ask. For those who are worried about wi-fi, it works flawlessly. From 8 p.m. the bar is open to everyone and the turnout shows how popular the hosts are. Always a great atmosphere, you can relax on the sofas, time slows down here. It was the first time I didn't use a safe box and sometimes I didn't close the door when I went out because I just didn't feel the need to do so. When I was leaving Olympus, Iliana offered to do the laundry for me, Giannis offered me delicious blueberry juice, I was sad because I felt at home there. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Olympus, you will not be disappointed.

Our three year old daughter loved the pool. The colour pink gave a good vibe to the room. It was spacious and breakfast choices were suitable and perfectly prepared. Many good memories from the stay and will recommend heartly to stay in the Olympus Studios.

Veey friendlly managers. Relaxed and quiet place. Easy parking. 20' by car to Star Beach waterpark. Two well-behaved dogs. Stuff for kids like swimming mask, toys, etc. Inexpensive breakfast English breakfast style, delivered to room. Good shower. Nice views of sea and mountains from two small balconies.

“Fantastic hosts and location”

We could not have wished for anything more for our stay. Giannis and Iliana are fantastic hosts and wonderful people who immediately made us feel welcome and at home at Olympus Studios. It really feels like we've gained family on this trip and we will definitely be back. Having said that, the location is great too. It's just outside of Malia so it's nicely quiet in the evenings, and the beach is within a few minutes as well.

Everything was perfect and we've had one of the most relaxing holidays. Many thanks Iliana and Giannis, we felt like home and we'll definitely return.

We were here for the 4th time. I dont have to explain why😁 You are treated like a family member at Olympus Studios, Giannis and Iliana are always nearby, when you have any needs. Located in an quiet area and 10 minuts footwalk to Malias Oldtown the apartement is the right choice. We are glad and looking forward to come back next year.
