Nice simple and friendly check-in procedure even though it was very late - close to midnight. Room was clean and sufficient size. Out of season excellent choice for someone looking for somewhere quiet and convenient in Malia. However like most places I expect it will be 300% livelier in season, and possibly a bit noisy at times with a bar open until 3a.m. and plenty of other venues close by. No extra charge for fridge and security safe in room.

Good vibes friendly staff in a great location

The staff is amazing. This is a family owned business and everyone is simply lovely. The room is clean. They serve great food. And the location is 100/100 1 min walk from the beach and 2 mins walk to the main bars road.

Convenient location, short walking distance to the main party strip, very welcoming family owned business. The staff were amazing and fun. There is a karaoke bar downstairs which is fun. Very close to pleasure beach club and many restaurants. Good value for money for the location. There was security at the front all night so safe for women coming back late

A cute small family hotel with own entertainment program, not far from the sea. It feels like the owners are trying for the guests.

Great location of the apartments, you don’t have to use the car . Very clean room with great view and all the necessary for a smooth stay . Luckily we found ourselves on two great nights with traditional dancing and karaoke and we had a really great time . The owners really had the party going and were there for anything you need always with a smile . Was really a pleasure meeting them and hopefully we’ll be back one day . Thank you very much for the memories

Me and my friend came to this place for few days, the entire place was lovely and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Nice pool, comfortable beds and the bar had good music and a cozy vibe with karaoke. The staff were great: friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Another big plus was the location—the hotel is just a short walk from the sea, which made it super convenient to enjoy the beach. I would definitely come back!

The property was lovely and clean throughout , perfect location about 3 minutes from the beach. The owners and all the staff go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. This hotel is for all ages and I would definitely come here on my own too knowing how lovely the family and staff are 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

“a greek dream come true”

If you have hotel options, just remove every other place and pick Kastro Beach! My 3 year old and I had the most amazing time. It was her first time outside of Norway, and I had no idea of what to expect. Beautiful location, where you can walk back and forth to the beach, shops next to the hotel, and the friendliest staff you can find. We were showered with kindness, and if you need recommendations like where to eat or what to do, everyone’s very helpful here. It felt like being at home rather than being on a vacation🛋️ Nice and clean, spacious rooms. On the warmer days, we walked back and forth to the beach and took breaks chilling inside with the a/c on, watching some tv before going out again. You can cook here with the oven top, which is +++ if you’re planning on staying for a while! Enjoyed cooking our meals and sitting right outside our front door in the sun, or just sipping morning coffee or night time tea here. Lovely views of the mountains🏞️ The pool area is great if you want a break from the beach, with a bar and the friendliest bartender. The food at Charlie’s Bar is so good, enjoyed the gyros and the curly fries a lot! Don’t forget the freddo cappuccino for your caffeine🌊🥙☀️ We were greeted by Nico upon arrival with the warmest welcome, and even helped us when we bumped into some issues. Karaoke night was such a treat, and worth for a little traveler to stay up for. The staff even danced and sang with my little one, especially Maria at Charlie’s, who became such a good friend from the very first night. Though the season had just started, and it was a little quiet the first few days, the experience at Kastro and their cheerful attitude, made it feel like a party ever day🏝️🪩 Because we loved Malia so much, we extended our stay, and it’s SAFE to say, if we ever find ourselves here again (which I hope we do rather sooner than later), I won’t bother looking at other hotels.

Perfect location -close to the beach, supermarket on 300m, restaurants and cafés arround. The room was big enought, small kitchen, comfortable bed (a little bit soft for me).
