Firstly, Salina is a magical island. Hard to beat. Le cassette is great if staying in Malfa. We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 5 of us and had a great stay. The apartment is spacious and the outdoor terrace is amazing with views that will take your breath away. Facilities are very comfortable and the garden is beautiful. Toto and Patrizia were really helpful whenever we needed anything (they are very proficient with GoogleTranslate for the English speaking crowd with minimal Italian!).

I can only say positive things about Le Casette di Malfa. The location manages to be both in a calm and relaxing place where you feel in peace with yourself, but also at walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, the cute village of Malfa and the stunning beach of Scario. But what impressed me the most is the view and the surrounding nature. From the terrace, you feel you can almost touch the sky and the blue sea; you are immersed in a garden which is cured in every detail and you are surrounded by a breathtaking panorama with mountains and a variety of vegetation that I’ve perhaps never experienced in my life. Last but not least, the host and their staff were extremely kind, helpful and fast in their responses. I can highly recommend Le Casette di Malfa for a peaceful staying!

“Relaxing and idyllic stay with gorgeous views”

Stunning views from each of the three balconies to the sea, gardens, mountains and islands of Stromboli and Panarea. This quiet, spacious, sparkling clean one bedroom home featured a very comfy bed and well appointed kitchen. We loved cooking meals at home, though the best of Malfa’s restaurants weren’t too far to walk to. A scooter hire made exploring the island and all the hill climbs much easier. Toto was very warm and helpful in showing us the place and booking us a taxi to the port. We’ll miss the adorable little kitten that came to say hello each day, and the sound of the church bells ringing on the hour. We simply adored our relaxing stay in beautiful Salina and can’t wait to return.

Toto was an absolutely brilliant host. He met us on our arrival and showed us how the apartment worked. The first morning, I struggled to get the stove working and he was up within 5 mins of my sending a message and sorted the stove out. There was a mosquito issue- the first night, we were eaten alive sitting in the hall on the sofa and outside on the terrace but we got a mosquito coil and some bug spray and did not get troubled by them for the remainder of the trip. The apartment could have had a few small touches (maybe some coffee / tea, some liquid soap for a shower) but for the very reasonable price we paid, it was perfectly fine. The view from the terrace / living room would have been worth anything - incredible to sit there with a coffee watching the light change in the morning and again when the sun sets. Thank you for everything.

Our stay at Casette di Malfa was amazing! The apartment was very well kept and had a stunning terrace over facing the sea. the landlord was very kind and generous, we would definitely come back.

If you’re coming to Salina (which you should) you have to stay at Le Casette di Malfa. Our house was even better than what we dreamed of, the terrace has the best view of the whole island, not to mention the breathtaking sunset. We loved our house so much we hardly ever went out for dinner so as to enjoy the views. Totò is a wonderful host, he gave us lots of useful information about the island, and was always extremely welcoming and kind. There is also a bus just around the corner that takes you to everywhere on the island. We will miss Le Casette di Malfa, and we can’t wait to come back!
