We have spent two weeks in Traditional Seaside Cottage Chania. The house is big enough for two families (4 adults and 4 kids). The cottage is fully equipped for living, very comfortable and clean. A big terrace with a large table to spend evenings and rest after exploring Crete is brilliant. Large dining table inside, perfect for family breakfast. Balcony on the second floor (sea view), air conditioners in each room, absolutely all kitchen equipment, two TV sets with plenty of programs, washing machine and much more. Even a Moka pot and filtered coffee machine are there. We have found sugar, coffee, tea, fresh water, juice, a huge plate of fruits... No need to go shopping at once after arriving. The house is prepared for trouble-free holidays. All equipment is in mint condition. The interior is bright and very cozy. Area around: Quite good local Rapaniana beach 400m away. Mini market (snacks, drinks, water stuff) 300m away. Small but really good, for kids, Selini Aquapark: 700m. The bakery, food shop, and family restaurant "Kriti" are also about 700m away from Seaside Cottage. Supermarkets (Lidl and one other), leisure areas with pubs, family restaurants, street food, and gift shops are about 15 minutes away by car. Generally speaking, locations are really good for exploring the island. Chania and Kisamos are about 30min by car. Rethymno - 1h. No worries about car parking, there is plenty of free space near the house to drop your car. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Owners: George and his mum met us at the Traditional Seaside Cottage and were surprised with hot home-cooked food (Moussaka). Trust me, after a long flight and driving, tasty homemade food is the best that can happen. We are very grateful for this. It's the best welcome we have ever experienced. George helped us a lot during the trip with advice, a must-visit list, and so on.

“Exellent choice”

Very good location. To the beach with a 2-3 minute walk. Great Thalassa taverna there !!!. There is nothing to write about - you have to go there and that's it. We were two families with children (teenagers) - 7 people. Comfortable and in a great atmosphere. We did not rent a car - communication by buses is really BDB. People nice and helpful. I RECOMMEND!

The host was very welcoming. Because the car we rented broke down, the host waited for us until 10:30 pm and offered us a traditional Chania pie, which we really liked. The house is equipped with everything you need and has air conditioning in all rooms. We felt very good and I recommend it for a beautiful holiday in Crete.

Very nice place to stay with family. Lots of space and well equipped house for family. Everything we needed was there. Coffee, paper towels, shampoos, sugar lots of kitchen accessories to cook, clean, wash etc. Air conditioning in every room. 5 minutes walk to the sea. Very hospitable and nice hosts who even prepared traditional Greek pie for us when we came hungry from the airport. In general I recommend sincerely.

This place is absolutely amazing. We were running a bit late to get the keys and texted Gio to let him know and he was very responsive and waited for us without any issues. We even got a homemade dish , made by his mom . It was delicious . Gio and his wife walked us around the house and showed everything. They also had info for local restaurants , markets and recommended few places we should see while we stayed in Crete.We stayed at the cottage for a week , the place was clean , adorable, everything that we needed was there. The AC worked great during the hot nights. There is a big porch with tables and chair and it was lovely to hang out there in the evenings. The town is quiet and perfect if you want to relax but also close to some Bigger towns (15-30 mins away). There is a lovely beach within the walking distance. I highly recommend this place!

“The best place for a family vacation!”

If you are looking for a quiet place close to the beach, this house will be perfect for you. The host was nice and very helpful. The house is very clean and well equipped. We arrived in the evening and the host prepared something to eat and drink, which surprised us. There is WiFi access, washing machine, hair dryer, iron and dishwasher. Good access to the most beautiful places in Crete. Sunsets from the balcony are the best! I recommend this house and we will definitely come back there again.
