“Food for the soul”

Blissfull location on the Crocodile River. Sitting on the patio at sunset watching hippo emerging from the river with her baby was good for the soul. Many other hippos as well honking into the evening. We saw waterbuck and other small deer in front of the house and 2 elephants grazing 25 metres from us. We watched a huge herd of about 30 elephants with babies on the Kruger side of the river for about 2 hours while they drank water, bathed, played and grazed. Fabulous and homely villa with Faith cooking breakfast every morning while we were watching the elephants. Large pool overlooking the river and a lovely outside BBQ area that we used on 2 evenings. Thanks for the charcoal! Communication on whatsapp was easy with Faith our cook as well as Amanda the owner. Will most definitely return and can highly recommend this villa.

Large colonial house at a breathtaking location at Crocodile river, on the banks of the Kruger National park. Very close to the southern Malelane gate. Great swimming pool and large garden. Very friendly and capable staff. Gardener offered to wash our car for free.

The location off the house is really awesome. We have seen all kind off animals when we were sitting in the garden. Some spring boks even game into the garden. The breakfast made by Faith was really fantastic. You can ask here anything to make and she will do it for you. The house is nice and clean done by Rose. We had an fantastic stay in this villa.

Our stay at the villa was truly wonderful and became one of the highlights of our trip to Africa. Host Amanda very attentive, she also helped us organize the safar. The villa and some of the furniture are not brand new, but everything is charming, cozy, and beautifully maintained, which adds to the character of the place. A special thank you to Faith, her cooking was absolutely delicious. We were also very happy to meet both Faith and Rose. We saw elephants and antelopes nearby, and hippos by the river. One tip for future guests: it’s best to rent a car at the airport, as it makes getting around much easier.

Unit was Double Booked, I had to seek alternative accommodation on arrival.

Location, cleanliness, very helpful and friendly staff. It was perfect and even better than the photo's. Got see hippos, bucks and elephants whilst sitting on the patio.

One of the most amazing places we've ever stayed. Host and staff were kind, friendly and welcoming. The house is huge with lovely grounds. The best thing though is the location. Overlooking the crocodile river. During our 2 night stay we saw elephants, hippo, baboon. Vervet monkey, Bushbuck waterbuck, warthog, crocodile, impala , fabulous birds all from the comfort of the garden. It was fabulous.

Perfect location, 10min from Malelane gate, 5 min from local shops, with wildlife on your door step. Most beautiful sunsets from the "stoep". We loved every minute there. Rose and Faith made our stay super special with amazing breakfast every morning. The villa was full equipped with everything you might need. Big garden and lovely swimming pool for the kids to cool off, after a long hot day, searching for the animals. Can't wait to go back!

A truly exceptional experience. The large, tastefull house and the veranda with direct view on the river — hippos, water bocks and birds — are wonderful. 5 Minutes from Malelane Gate, perfect! Thanks to Rose for the good cleaning.

Bedroom and shower were lovely , with bedside sockets for phones. Good kitchen utensils and large fridge and freezer. The views to the river and Kruger Park were exceptional and we were visited by a lone Elephant each day

The view of the Crocodile river is wonderful and had some good sightings of hippo, crocodiles and waterbuck. Hlobosile was in constant communication with us and was very helpful.

All furniture was old and in urgent need of replacement. The place is in need of urgent attention. Could be wonderful once refurbished
