“Wildlife lovers dream stay!”

We literally had a group of elephants cross our sitting area on the 1st night! On top of that the hippos, crocodiles and birdlife seen easily from that outdoor seating area is amazing.

This place is perfect!! You could just as well stayed in the Kruger Park. Elephants paraded up and down the fence. Splended view and nice garden. Very private with outside shouwer. Every thing what you can think of in your house was there. Very neat and rustic. Even solar lights when the power is off. Will definitely go back soon.

“Hidden gem in Malalane”

The location was great with the most amazing view!! Saw some wildlife and bird life whilst sitting at the braai area enjoying a sundowner. Friendly staff, extras like a variety of coffee, tea, milk, breakfast cereals, spring water, charcoal, firelighters and shower gel. Even a chocolate placed on a pillows. Very neat and well equipped chalet. Lovely outdoor shower too! Very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Great view and had all the facilities and more. Saw lits of elephants within 5m, honey badger, giraffes, hippos and more

The location is one of the best experiences we ever had. The whole setting was excellent and so calm and tranquil.

It looked fabulous, but after calling the host on a number of occasions we were advised that it was double booked (all Booking.com’s fault she said). We were directed to her other property, which we declined and had to look elsewhere for accommodation at 5pm. We didn’t like the fact that we’d paid in advance for nothing. Not even an apology.

The location is superb. Rustic but with everything you need. Very quiet with a stunning view from the patio across the Crocodile River.

The closeness to the Park and the solitude to enjoy the animals along the river from the patio. Has a heard of elephant come past not more than 7meters away. The sounds of hippos and the fish eagles.

“Natural beauty on the bank of the Crocodile River”

Warm welcome. Wonderful wide view of the Crocodile River, with powerful floodlights shining on the river at night. Hippo and buck grazing. Flocks of birds flying up and down the river. Elephants within a few metres of the veranda. Well-equipped kitchen. A good supply of milk, bottled spring water, cereal, Jungle Oats, tea, coffee etc. A very quiet setting, on a farm. Very secure.

We ended up not being able to stay at the chalet due to system error and dbl booking. The host still showed us the unit. And they booked us at a lovely property close by. That was just as special. And he was so apologetic about the whole thing. Made sure we were safe and well taken care of. Will definitely recommend any person to visit them.. Will definitely make sure on our next visit to the area that we spend a few days.

“Best place to stay in Malelane”

It is being in the Kruger National Park without having to pay park fees!! Right on the Southern banks of the Crocodile river, the Croc River lapa is a place to visit again and again. There is peace to be found in the quiet when you sit on the veranda gazing out over the river and the abundant wildlife comes and goes in regular in intervals. See hippo, crocs, waterbuck, impala, warthog, elephants, other species and the occasional predator on the river while sitting on the veranda.

The setting is beautiful, overlooking the Kruger National Park. The bird life is wonderful.

The place is very quiet and cozzy....the view is so nice. Not to mention the rooms there was everything that we needed,no complains what so ever.everything was perfect and the security is tight.

Location was perfect. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and looking over the crocodile river. We were really surprised with all the necessities in the chalet - it made the stay very comfortable. Will definitely go back again.
