We had a very enjoyable stay at Samann Grand and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Malé. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. We would especially like to thank Kuldeep, Himanshu, and Nisal, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their hospitality made a real difference and was one of the highlights of our visit. The hotel’s location is excellent and makes it very easy to explore Malé, with many attractions, shops, and restaurants nearby. The restaurant was also very good. We enjoyed the food throughout our stay, and the service there was just as attentive and welcoming. The rooms are not overly luxurious, but they are comfortable, clean, and provide everything needed for a pleasant stay. One feature we particularly liked was the bathroom, which was beautifully designed and felt modern and inviting. The rain shower was excellent and added a touch of comfort after a day of exploring. Overall, Samann Grand offers outstanding service, a great location, a very good restaurant, and comfortable accommodations. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others visiting Malé.

Close to the airport and best suited for a stay before or after your resort stay. Staff is amazing and handled everything end to end from picking up to dropping off at the airport. Rooms are very clean and functional. Food at the restaurant is very good.

The location is not bad (good for walks), even though it is next to two mosques. You can only sleep for a few hours. The breakfast staff were really nice.

“Excellent staff/service but poor physical condition and quality of rooms”

The standout aspect of Samann Grand was unquestionably the staff and overall service. From the moment we landed from our seaplane transfer, the coordination and hospitality were excellent. The hotel team collected us almost immediately, handled all luggage seamlessly, and provided a smooth, comfortable transfer from the seaplane terminal to the hotel. The level of attentiveness honestly felt comparable to the five-star Maldives resort we had just stayed at. Check-in was friendly and professional, welcome drinks were provided, and every interaction with staff throughout the stay was positive. The team were accommodating, flexible, and clearly doing their best to provide a good experience. In particular, Suda, Nisal, and Vineesh were all extremely helpful. Additional positives included: - Excellent airport and seaplane coordination - Helpful luggage assistance throughout - Flexible transfer arrangements when our return flight was delayed - Umbrellas provided during heavy rain - Staff escorting us directly to the airport check-in desk - Comfortable and clean bed/bedding - Nice rooftop dining and breakfast area overlooking the harbour and airport - Included airport transfer added good value for a short overnight stay

it was close to the airport so i could do a late night check in, we were picked up and the treatment was amazing, the staff were so kind even as a solo female traveler i felt safe but i did not have time to walk around the vicinity.

We stayed here for a short break before heading to our resort, and it was the perfect choice. The room was spotless and the air conditioning worked perfectly, providing a very comfortable and cooling escape from the heat. A huge thank you to the staff for their wonderful hospitality. Sudarshan and Nisal were incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We also want to give a special shout-out to Abilal from the housekeeping team for keeping our room so clean and pleasant. This hotel is a fantastic spot for anyone needing a refreshing stay in the Maldives. We highly recommend it!

For our second stay at the Samman Grand, we were glad to be greeted again by Sudha from reception desk who was very patient and kind. He remembered details from our previous stay which made a real difference and even placed a welcome back gift in our room. We don’t regret comming back to this hotel as it felt safe, familiar, clean and calm. Since it is located in the heart of the city, it was very easy to go out to eat or shop. I highly recommend the Cloud (level 10 in the Samman) for your meals. The staff is more than happy to help by giving a map of the Male and recommendations
