“Brilliant little find!”
This is an excellent hidden gem. Tucked away in the hills above Trieste. It is quiet & the hosts were very helpful and engaging. For us this was an impromptu stop off on our way to Croatia, but it looks like it would be a great base to explore around this area. Evening meals are served from the bar. The parking area is huge.

We were able to check in at 4 p.m. instead of 6:30 p.m. because the host was flexible. (Please note that 6:30 p.m. is the check-in hour for this property!)

“Hidden gem withvwonderful staff”
The place is wonderful for visiting the gulf of Trieste. In a quite place but close to the city and the beaches and Vall Rosandra by car. The staff is great. We loved our stay.

“Hotel policy is not very accomodating and the room was ugly.”
We received a mail saying that the Check-in wasn’t before 6.30 pm. Luckily, as we were driving, we didn’t see the mail until after we arrived there at around 3.30pm. The guy behind the bar « made an effort » and went to check of our room was already made up and it was, so he let us in. As we were staying only one night, for us it would have been a disaster, had we not been able to use the room in the afternoon. It would not have been good value for money at all! I checked and the general hotel policy is no check-in before 6pm. What do people do before? Hang out in a Cafe or on the beach, waiting to be let in to have a shower? Really not very accomodating, at all. Also, the room is decorated in a weird pseudo-farm stile with big terracotta plates hanging from the ceiling. It is almost as if you were sleeping under a Damokles sword… and no possibility to open a window.

The hosts were very nice, we had a good time in this place. :) Room is clean, good and comfy. Breakfast was so delicious we had freshly sliced ham and scrambled eggs. Their wine is very tasty, perfect for a good evening talk with friends. :)

“Recommended!”
It is a very hidden accommodation and we are lucky we found it. We stayed for one night and it was perfect. They also have a restaurant next to accommodation which is very delicious. Service and stuff are very friendly.
