“Perfect hidden gem in the heart of Malcesine”

The apartment was an excellent location right in the heart of Malcesine, overlooking both the castle and the cable car. It was really clean, bright and modern and had everything we needed for our family trip. The air con worked really well, the beds were comfortable and we had two bathrooms which works well for a family. There was a lovely welcome basket when we arrived with some nice nibbles / treats / coffee etc and cold water in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Lisa, the host, was very helpful and communicated with us before / during our stay. She met us in the first day to show us the way to the apartment and was extremely approachable, friendly and helpful. On our last day she was very accommodating and was able to help us store our luggage for a couple of hours before we left as we had an evening flight and didn’t want to drag the cases round the narrow cobbled streets! She came to meet us before we left and very kindly gave our young children some little gifts before we left which were very much appreciated and they used on the long journey home. We can’t recommend Picalof apartments highly enough. We would love to return!

The property had everything we needed for our few days in Malcesine. Lovely balcony, shower and bed. Very close to the beaches, the shop for food, the Funivia for Monte Baldo, and lots of restaurants.

“Charming old building, cleverly renovated to provide modern home away from home in Malcesine”

Lovely modern renovation of a beautiful old stone building in old town. Great facilities and thoughtful renovation to provide all the modern creature comforts. Hosts were very helpful in guiding our stay, even helping us to arrange transportation.

The Picalof apartment was modern, clean, comfortable and in the perfect central location. Lisa was a great host, with exceptional communication and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.

The apartment was located under the castle in the heart of the old town. It was a fabulous location with a short walk to the beach, and funicular. Shops and restaurants were right outside the door.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Picalof Apartments. We will certainly recommend here to our friends and family as the place to stay when visiting the Lake Garda region. From it's central location in the heart of the beautiful historical town of Malcesine, to the comfort and cleanliness of the apartment, along with the great support and welcome from Lisa the owner of the apartment. She was always asking were we ok for everything and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants. By the way there are many great restaurants which are a must to eat in while you are there! Already planning another visit!

Excellent location for all of the attractions in the centre of Malcesine. 2 minute walk from the castle and 5 mins walk from the harbour. Lisa even gave us a list of the best places for pizza, pasta, bbq steak, ice cream etc. Beautiful apartment spotlessly clean with everything you could want for a family holiday.

The apartment is absolutely fantastic. The facilities included were great. The location was perfect as it’s right in the middle of Malcesine. Everything we needed was very close. We was a family of 4 (2 young children) and we had all the space we needed. The rooms were really big so we always had plenty of space. Lisa was a fantastic host. From meeting her to get the keys to us leaving she was great. She was very friendly, gave us lots of tips and recommendations for the area. Any questions we had she responded straight away over messages. Her apartment was stunning. The local neighbours were also very friendly. We can’t wait to come back next year.

There is no thing to point as "liked", because everything was excelent. Hosts (Lisa & Andrea) were of great help, very kind with significant tips. Location great, everything in town within minutes of walk. Appartment great - spacious and clean.
