Overview
Just 200 metres from the shores of Lake Garda, Gardesana Active Apartments is set in Malcesine town centre. It offers a range of sports activities as well as self-catering apartments with a balcony or terrace. Apartments at the Gardesana Active have bright, contemporary décor. Each includes a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Many apartments offer lovely views of Lake Garda, Scaliger Castle or Monte Baldo mountain. All apartments have free Wi-Fi. The residence runs a weekly sports programme and mountain bike tours. Special activities can be arranged on request, such as kite-surfing, paragliding, canyoning and free climbing. Guests can rent bikes on site, and a picturesque lakeside cycle path runs close to the apartments which include a shared bike storage area. Next door, you will find a sports shop and a café.

I stayed at the Sailing apartment — it was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view of the mountains. Location is perfect: close to center, lake and supermarket.

What a wonderful place to stay! Perfect location and amazing views with the castle, lake and mountains. Beautiful apartment with all you need. Carolina is the most welcoming and helpful host you could have. I would definitely come here again.

“We will choose Malcesine and Gardesana Active Apartments next time too!”
Very nice location in Malcesine with a large balcony and a lake view in both directions. A couple of minutes walk away to the grocery store (Spar) and to restaurants. Very clean and a feeling that you can unpack your suitcase. Bikes were included free of charge which was perfect for us with biking distance to Fraglia Vela Malcesine. We also found our favorite casual restaurant just opposite the apartments. Nice staff, great food and price worthy.

“Excellent location very comfortable”
The room was very very clean and modern, it contained everything we needed. Carolina the host was extremely helpful a very nice lady indeed. The location is perfect for accessing the old town area of Malcesine Highly recommended we will be booking again!

“Great family option”
Location was very central. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Very good communication prior to arrival and easy check-in. The hostess was fantastic, so welcoming and gave us lots of information on places to visit and eat.

“Excellent location, lovely, clean apartment”
Really clean apartment with everything we needed for a short stay in Malcesine. We loved having the terrace space to relax and enjoy life going by. Location was great - close to the bus station, supermarket, cafes, shops and the historic centre. Carolina is a warm and welcoming host 🙂

“Comfortable and clean”
Very clean and comfortable and Carolina was easy to contact before and during our stay. Good shower and air con. Central location, very close to Malcesine old town, ferry port, cable car and bus station.

“Great place to stay in Malcesine”
This was our top stay during our vacation. Spacious apartment with everything we needed, air conditioning in both living room and bedroom, terrace with good view. And it offers free parking and free use of bikes. The host Carolina was great as well - she provided really detailed guidance on how to find the place and parking, she also gave us tips for places to do and visit. It was real pleasure staying at this place and we’d love getting back for even longer vacation.
