Overview
The eco-friendly Hotel Ariston of Malcesine, is adjacent to the cable car to Monte Baldo, and a 5-minute walk from the Scaligeri Castle and the beaches of Lake Garda. All rooms feature a unique style and boast balconies with views of the lake, garden or mountains. You can relax in the outdoor heated whirlpool, and burn some energy on a game of table-tennis. The Ariston also offers a non-smoking lounge with free internet terminals and TV, sauna and a meditation room. The interiors were tastefully refurbished combining the practice of Feng-Shui, with modern principles of bio-architecture. The hotel serves organic food for breakfast, and the toiletries in offer are not tested on animals. Gluten- and allergy-free food can be prepared on request. The wine list includes many prestigious local wines and selected organic wines. The property has won the local Balconi Fioriti competition, and was awarded with the Ecological Hotel label by Ecoworldhotel, and Best Quality Hotel by the Chamber of Commerce of Verona.

“Stunning views”
We had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel, perfectly located just steps from the Monte Baldo cable car — an ideal base for exploring beautiful Malcesine. My room was simple yet very comfortable, with a balcony that opened up to stunning views of the castle, mountains, and lake. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the surroundings. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast each morning was generous and delicious — we especially loved the fresh bread, cakes, and the big hunk of parmesan cheese! My family and I had a truly lovely experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malcesine.

“A wonderful hotel right next to the beautiful Malcesine”
We loved our stay here in Malcesine! It is a lovely hotel with all the facilities you would need for your stay. We had a mountain view room with a balcony that looked up to Monte Baldo. The location is fantastic, right next to the cable car and just a few minutes walk into the centre of Malcesine with lots of restaurants and bars. The bus stop and ferry are close by to allow you to visit other areas on Lake Garda. The breakfast was fantastic too! Would recommend 😊

For me, the best hotel in Malcesine ❤️ Perfect view from the room of the castle, lake and the mountains, the whole hotel is clean, beautiful rooms, a lovely garden, excellent breakfasts, perfect parking next to the hotel, even for larger cars, and above all, wonderfully kind staff 😍 Thank you all for everything, and we will definitely come back next year. ❤️ Yours Veronika and Michaela

We were extremely satisfied with our stay at Eco Hotel Ariston in Malcesine. The hotel has a perfect location with stunning views from the rooms. The garden is beautifully maintained, featuring a hot tub, swings, and loungers – a perfect place to relax. Parking is conveniently located right next to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was rich, delicious, and served on the terrace or in the lovely garden. The cleanliness of the hotel is at a very high level. We will definitely come back!

“Perfect hotel, stunning views, great location, couldn’t fault this hotel”
Stayed here for my daughter’s wedding week. We could see the castle where she was married from our balcony as well as stunning views of the lake. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. The location was great, really close to the centre and quaint little bars and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and polite. All in all we had a perfect week and will definitely return to this hotel and Malcesine.

The property is updated and thoughtfully designed and has a spectacular view - seriously it’s amazing! We appreciated the hosts and also all the staff were friendly and we felt welcome. The location is just down the hill from the cable car and across the road is the old beautiful town. The breakfast is fantastic, so many yummy things to choose!

“A very enjoyable stay!”
The hotel had a great atmosphere, cosy feel and friendly staff. The view from the room was of the castle and was amazing, with a good size balcony. Breakfast was lovely, a nice range of pastries, cooked variations of eggs, cold meats, cereal etc. A great, quiet location, and a very short walk from the centre. The hotel was also very accessible by public transport/short walk from the bus station without needing to take suitcases over cobbled streets (which are in the centre).
