Small but very good room. Helpful staff.

Very decent homestay - comfortable bed, good AC, good shower, little kitchen area with big fridge. Everything we needed! It’s out of the way, around 10min by motorbike/20min walking from main area, it’s nice and cosy. I recommend

The accommodation is well thought out but needs new investments. The kitchenette is nice but not well equipped. The staff is great.

We booked 3 nights here and we ended up staying one week because this place is just perfect ! Clean and quiet, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay in Malapascua wonderful.

Room very clean. Drinking water available. Shower hot. A/C good. Bed was comfortable. View lovely. It's a 20 min walk to the pier, but well lit at night if you want to return after dark. Host very kind in arranging full refund when I amended dates at the last minute. Would recommend if you don't mind the walk (I enjoyed it). Very quiet.

“Relaxing stay”

We enjoyed our stay at Chavina-Joy. Both the owner and the caretaker were very friendly and helpful which is a huge plus. We felt welcome. The room was clean. Even though the accommodation is located in the middle of the island, it was an easy 20min walk to the South coast where our dive school was. We were fine to walk and explore the island.

Very quiet area and nice rooms. Just be aware, that they are small. Kitchen is good equipped. If you need anything else the host is always happy to help. Host was very nice and helpful, also organized a scooter for us to get easier to the main area. The rooms are very clean and the host also cleans them during your stay. North beach is only 10 min walking distance. Would recommend going there if you don’t mind driving a scooter.

Probably the best place to stay in Malapascua. The surroundings are very chill, the place is all surrounded by the forest and you can see the sea from a distance. The facilities are in great condition, everything is brand new, and the kitchenware is good. The host can arrange you motorbike transportation, plus, he keeps the place very clean. It is a 20~30 minutes walk to the main village and 10 minutes walk to the beach at the north, so you can do just fine with no motorcycle too.

“Great value for money, I would easily stay here again.”

This place has everything that you need, comfy bed, warm water, wifi, fully equipped kitchen, you have a table with chairs inside but we moved it to the balcony. You can cook your own meals and eat outside. This is a studio, not a room and it looks much better in a real life that on the photos. We loved the location (please check carefully where it is) You are surrounded by forest and it is really quiet at night. Free drinking water. The nearest shop is 2min away, but you can only buy some snacks, water, beer, eggs and sometimes veggies. 3min to the nearest beach. 15/20min walk to the busy south and 15min walk to the beaches on the north side. Amazing price, great value for money. We booked for 2 nights but we stayed 7.

“Lovely stay in a peaceful and beautiful area”

Lovely studio apartment with private bathroom, kitchenette, double bed and enough storage. There was a fan in the room but it would still get quite hot. It was nice to have a bench outside to watch the stars in the evening. There’s a little beach one minute walk away and it’s about 10-15min walk to the north beach. The location was lovely and peaceful.

The property was very clean and well equipped- small but had everything you needed including a usable kitchen. Bathroom looked pretty new too and finally, a hotel with a sidelight next to the bed! It was very quiet so we slept well. Peaceful surroundings. Quiet air con. The view from the balcony is also very beautiful- it must be one of the highest points of the island. Hotel manager changed our towels and bed sheets every couple of days. Fast WiFi. Ice cold water filter at reception which was great, normally they’re lukewarm.

Quiet place, excellent for people who like to be away from all the noise.

This place is your place if you like to be a bit away from the noisy and crowded center in Malapascua. It has a kitchen with tools and a small fridge and there is some little shops around where you can buy basic stuff. Also it has great views and free drinking water.

There is a kitchen with a fridge, it's really clean, they have cold water available for free as well, it's quite, remote location but just 15 minutes walking from the "center",.. it's a perfect place really.

Just okay. Nice room but far from everything..

“Cosy, clean and you feel like home.”

Very cosy room, well maintained, with all the necessities present. The place is very clean and the staff is helpfull as well. Price quality is good, and we loved staying here. Would definitely reccomend this place!
