The staff went over and above. Breakfast, lunch and dinner made to order. Rooms had air-conditioning and fans and mosquitoes' nets, large and walk straight from room to pool

The pool was very clean and fresh, the staff was very nice, the room were cozy. We recommend the balcony room with a view on top. We had an upgrade to this room for ine night and we really enjoy. The manager was very helpful. We loved the food from the restaurant.

Tofauti is the best. Its a small place and so peaceful. Close to the Makunduchi beach and the staff is the your friends. It feels like home and you always want to go back.

“A home away from home in paradise island.”

I Had an amazing stay at Tofauti Inn. It is the perfect accommodation, very close to the ocean and beautiful beach with a beautiful pool and amazing atmosphere. The staff makes the stay even more amazing by creating a warm welcome and excelent serrvice with comfortable rooms. The breakfast is delicious and the accommodation provides you with everything you need to have a great stay. A big thanks to the staff for creating such a homely environment. Definitely highly recommend. I already now i will be back at Tofauti next time i am in zanzibar. Thank you again for the great stay!

We had an unforgettable stay at Tofauti Inn. From the moment we arrived, it felt like coming home. The lush garden was absolutely beautiful, and our cottage was cozy, peaceful, and full of charm. Every detail—from the architecture to the atmosphere—was thoughtfully designed. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. The team made us feel like we had known them for years—so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. We felt truly cared for throughout our stay. If we had to mention one downside… it’s that we had to leave! We would have loved to stay longer in this little paradise. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and soulful experience in Zanzibar.

“Beautiful, family friendly and quiet place”

Very nice place, family friendly, beautiful and quiet. very closed to the beautiful beach. The complex is simply beautiful with an amazing swimming pool. The staff was excellent, Rhoda, Tchambi, Ali and the rest of the team where there to make us feel like at home. The food was great... I recommend this place

Everything was excellent and even nicer than in the internet: the room, the garden, the breakfast, the swimming pool, the beach just around the corner. And also the staff was perfect and very caring and friendly. You really feel at home! The best hotel I ever stayed at! Thank you!

Lovely secluded place, quiet and great room and pool

“A little paradise”

We loved this accommodation. The pool and decorations are very serene making it the perfect location to relax. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it. The room was clean and the whole place maintained daily. Air con worked perfectly too. There’s a restaurant on site if you want to order lunch and dinner. The breakfast was insanely delicious - probably the best breakfast we had that was included with accommodation in our whole Tanzania trip. The staff are amazing - very friendly and hospitable. The location is not as busy - but that’s great for a more relaxing holiday. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach, and there’s another restaurant and shop nearby too. We rented a car and parked it outside the gate which was super convenient also. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

The team of Tofauti did their very best to let me feel at home. I was travelling alone. They all made me feel so comfortabele. Smiling faces everywhere. Always asking if i was ok. Even tought me some Swahili. Breakfast was amazing
