Overview
Villa Xenia is located in a garden just above the beaches of Diaskari and Lagada in Makrigialos. It features self-catered accommodation with a balcony overlooking the Libyan Sea. With simple furnishings and a lot of natural light, all apartments and studios at the Xenia include a kitchenette with a fridge and cooking hobs. Each has a private bathroom with shower and toiletries. The village centre is a 500 metres from the property and has Cretan restaurants, bars and shops. Lively Ierapetra is at 25 km. Free private parking is provided on site.

Xenia was very helpful and kind. Our room was ready for us and we had everything we needed. There was water, beer and fruit juice in the fridge, plus local snacks, breakfast items, coffee and more. The apartment block is modern and clean. It is in an excellent location, close to facilities but nice and quiet, and a great view of the coast and local town. Xenia is an exceptional host and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful location on top of the hill with views to the ocean, very cosy apartment and quiet, so close to the beach and the cute town of Makry Gialos and Elpida and her mum Xenia are the most welcoming hosts ever.

“Large apartments close to the Green Beach.”
We were only able to stay one night but the apartment was great, large, nice beds and a full kitchen. We were just 2 so we had lots of space. It’s very close (100 meters) to one of the best beaches in the area which also has a fantastic taverna. You really don’t need more than that. Very friendly and helpful hosts who provided us with a nice welcome package (water, beer, juice, dessert!, snacks etc), that was very nice! Private on site parking. We’ll stay longer next time.

Very nice host, waiting for me for a late arrival. She prepared breakfast items, which is very grateful, specially arriving post midnight. The room was cozy, with a great view. I appreciated access to private parking.

We very much liked the warm welcome and friendliness of the owner. Great care and thoughtfulness had been taken over all the welcoming little gifts and goodies. Lovely position overlooking the sea. Very near, walking distance, to a good beach and taverna.

“More than satisfied with all amenities”
Warm personal welcome of the host. Coffee, cookies and much more on the table at arrival. Large veranda with sea view, private entrance, very spacious apartment also suited to stay with children, renovated bathroom, tv, airco. Perfect stay!

“Lovely people, Lovely room, Lovely place”
The host was lovely, very welcoming, she gave us lots of nice things for breakfast, home made cakes, jams and drinks in the fridge. The room was spotlessly clean and very quiet. There was a lovely Taverna at the bottom of the hill on the beach, a 5 minute walk away.

We spent one night at Villa Xenia and were touched by the kindness of Xenia and her daughter. They both gave us a very warm welcome. The villa is just a few meters from a small beach which allowed us to watch a beautiful sunset. We had a problem with our rental car and Xenia helped us through a friend of her.
