Perfect location overlooking the beach. Right by one good taverna and 10 mins walk from loads of bars, restaurants and amenities including an excellent pharmacy. Loannis made us so welcome. The apartment felt full of generosity, everything we needed including beach towels, loungers , umbrella and mats and fruit, cakes, his own olive oil and little extras. A very relaxing place with a wonderful large terrace for sitting and family eating. Always usable as it was sheltered and a few steps from the sea. Quiet spot only a short walk away from all the razmataz. Lovely. .

Very nice, beachfront and clean apartment away from the hustle and bustle...but still just 700m - 7-8min walk to the center of Makry Gialos village. The host - Giannis - was very friendly, polite and helpful, left for us fresh fruits, sweets, olive oil. There was everything for a short or longer stay...even beach chairs and umbrella. The beach in front of the building is quiet, with no tourists. The trees give natural shade and the sea is not shallow. The best feature is the balcony. There are side awnings to stop the direct sunlight and the strong winds during some days. The apartment was cool in the hot July and we could enjoy great evenings at the balcony. Thank you for the hospitality! We hope we see you again some day!

The apartment is incredibly well equipped, everything from kitchen items to spare beach equipment (towels, chairs umbrellas etc). Great air conditioning! Couldn’t fault our stay or the lovely host Ioannis who was incredibly friendly and welcoming!

Our third time at this wonderful apartment. Welcoming and generous host. Very clean and comfortable with a great balcony overlooking the beach. Excellent location for popping in to Makry too for its lovely beach, tavernas and bars.

Location, location, location - 5 meters to the quiet beach, separated by a small hill from the more busy Makry Gialos promenade. The owners are super nice, the closest neighbour is super nice. All of them are super helpful. We were staying at the apartament for 4 weeks with the family of 5, the apartment is not really big but it was enough for us, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own food. There were special treats (like sweets, fruits and of course olive oil :) ) prepared by the owner on the day of our arrival which was super nice. All in all, highly recommended!

We were only here for four days as we used the apartment as a base for travelling around the eastern part of the island. A very helpful host welcomed us at the arranged time and showed us our apartment. He told us to call if we needed anything. The apartment is fully equipped as a full holiday apartment - not even a washing machine is missing. The sea is just a few steps away, the beach is mostly just a few people from the surrounding apartments. However, we didn't use the beach as we just slept in the apartment between our trips.
