Overview
Boasting panoramic views over Pagasitikos Gulf, the family-run Archontiko Koilia is a stone-built guesthouse located in the charming village of Makrinitsa. Its rooms and suites combine elegant and traditional features, while buffet breakfast is served in the morning. Koilia rooms and suites feature wooden floors and ceilings, and wooden furnishings. They are equipped with a flat-screen TV, safety box and hairdryer. Slippers and free toiletries are also offered. The central square of the village is 100 metres away from the guesthouse. The seaside town of Volos featuring many taverns and cafes is at 12 km. Guests can also visit the scenic village of Portaria located 3 km away.

“Best value for money choice in makrinitsa”
Excellent location, amazing view and very welcoming and warm people. The room was really clean and the hotel is in a very old but well preserved, historical building that makes you feel like living in another era. Everything was great, recommend it for sure.

Everything! The owners, Christina and Tasos were really welcoming and very friendly! The premises are recently renovated. The room had an amazing view, it was comfortable, clean and very peaceful. The breakfast was super tasty, it included traditional recipes and local ingredients.

The view was very nice. I checked the room thoroughly and it was very clean indeed, I have experience in this area. The decoration was very aesthetic and the bathroom also was very modern and nice and it was also cleaned well. The lady told us to call her anytime we need anything and it was very nice and kind of her to do.

“Back on time”
One of the best stays in Greece. A beautiful hidden heritage Village that's offer a stunning views of the ocean and Volos City. The host Christina and her husband were very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in their grandparents renovated house and we felt like we were back in the time living the ancient Greek life.

Christina and her family were more than hospitable and friendly! Their welcome was very warm, facilities exceptional and an exquisite breakfast waiting for us each morning! We are happy to say we made some new friends and definitely coming back at our next stay in Pelion. Absolutely recommend for anyone who wants to feel like home away from home

The location Is fascinating: an ancient typical residence, equipped of any necessary. The terrace is amazing with a wonderful overview on Volos. The host Cristina is very nice and kind. She does her best to make the stay of her guests excellent: the breakfast is excellent, with sweet and salted pies homemade prepared by Cristina. Wonderful accomodation.
