Location. The house is 10-15 mins away from pachia ammos beach and 20 mins from kamariotissa(the port) and chora(capital) with car. Has a kitchen that you can use to make coffee(if you have coffee) or use the kitchenette.

“Cheap and convenient for bare minimum needs”

It is not a luxurious place but it was cheap and convenient for what we needed. The old couple that lives there don't speak English so it's a bit tricky to understand each other with Google translate. The mattress was comfy, it has an ensuite and the drive to the beach is quite short. Also, it's very close to the tavern on the hill opposite the accommodation where there's no menu and they surprise you with food, also cheapest place to eat around there.

This is a traditional accommodation, very clean and simple. The hosts are welcoming and generally unobtrusive; you are very much left in peace. The general ambience is calm and peaceful in a rural village setting. Our room was a good size with a large terrace. All rooms have a balcony of at least normal size. If you are on the Eastern side of the building it's a great place to watch the sun go down! The room had a double plus a single bed, TV (if you need it!) fridge and ample storage. The bathroom (traditional wetroom style) was clean, with enough space and plenty of hot and cold water with good pressure. The shower was excellent. WiFi is consistently fast. There is a well-equipped communal kitchen in the courtyard where there are tables overhung with vines. We liked the location overlooking the village, which is close to beaches on the south of the island. This is great place to stay if you like simple and traditional. Great value for money. We would definitely stay here again quite happily.

The owners were exceptional, the place was very beautiful.i prefer that side of the island to stay, is rather far (15mins) than the most touristic places but is better.

I liked the location however we had a car. If you don’t have a car it’s impossible to get around the area. The bathroom was cramped which was annoying as every time we showered the bathroom was saturated. The owners were great, they took care of us altho they didn’t speak English! The place was welcoming and homely

The place is really isolated and the grandma that checked us in didn't speak a word in English. She was really nice. The view is superb and the sound of nature, deafening. The taverna nearby serves great food and people are nice.

such a cute balcony with a great veiw, and such a lovely couple, really cute garden plus place to park if you rent a scooter! room was good, comfy beds and warm blankets, good hot shower!

The host are very kind, like your grandparents in Samotraki. Some rooms have great view. There is a small kitchen one can use for a coffee, even cook (has everything one would need) in a bit maybe rustic style, also a nice common garden with dinning tables. It is located close to the sand beach. Our impression was that in Samotraki most accommodations are a bit old-style and this location is a nice one, also if you consider the budget.

Beautiful location overlooking the village and down to the sea with the mountain behind. Really lovely big shared balcony space, made a great yoga spot! Nearby to a very good taverna. Hosts were so kind and sweet and accommodating.

Friendly owners, many flowers and plants in the yard, quiet place, easy to find, nice view.

Small, quiet village close to the sea. Hosts are a lovely old couple, friendly, and caring. Felt like holidays with my grandparents. Very peaceful place!
