“OK hotel”

Very kind and helpful staff but they do not speak any word in English. Good breakfast but only at fix 10.00 AM that is a bit late (for me). There is only a few public parking place around the hotel so do not be sure you will have it at every time if you go somewhere and arrive back.

This is the best place to stay in Batumi. Right in front of the beach in a nice area, provided with many shops, bakery and markets. Relax outside of the city center and have a beer in the Hotel's Cafe (very good beer by the way). The owners are friendly, and the food is delicious. Batumi center is easily reachable by Bus. The room has everything you'll need: air conditioner, small fridge, kettle, plates and washing machine. I will return soon! Thank you.

The Hotel Niks exceeded my expectations as a single budget traveller. I stayed here for almost a month and I work online so had to use the Internet daily. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds and everything functional and as expected. This is by no means a luxury hotel, but for someone on a budget this hotel is absolutely amazing. The couple who own the hotel and their daughter who speaks fluent English went out of their way to help me and make me comfortable. I arrived being extremely airsick and they immediately put me into a bigger room for no extra charge and went out of their way to make sure I was ok. I can recommend this place to anyone who does not expect luxury but a clean, comfortable stay. There is a washing machine to use, every balcony has a clothes dryer with pegs to hang washing, the Hotel is above the small family run restaurant and all the necessary shops and even a pharmacy is just here. I worked online during the day and had no problems with the internet and my job requires fast internet. I did have a hotspot as backup and only ever used it once. There is a communal fridge and tiny kitchen area if you need to make a cup of coffee of even cook a simple meal however I bought the lovely Georgian breads from the bakery below, where they use the traditional clay fire pit to bake. Taxis, buses and minibus taxis run into Batumi regularly and cost very little. The Hotel is on a busy main road so if you want absolute quiet this is not the place, although I quickly got used to the traffic noise and also the lovely georgian music played at night at the little restaurants around me. The pebbled beach is just across the road from the Hotel. I can 100% recommend this Hotel. The best part is, I travel with my two cats and they welcomed me with my babies. My cats stayed in the room and I had a litter box and scratch post for them. Oh and last but by no means least the hotel has a lovely rooftop where you can relax with a beer at sunset.

The location is very close to supermarket and pharmacy! Cristine speaks English very well and helped me with informations about transport. The hotel is just 3min walking to the black sea!

Good location, not far from the beach, restaurants, shops. There was air conditioning in the room, table for work, hot running water.

I liked bed and veranda

Hotel Niks is a very pleasant family hotel, very nice owners. We got what we expected. Right in the hotel there is a restaurant with excellent home cooking and home wine (cooked by the lady owner) and a small grocery store, fruit and vegetables. The possibility of arranging parking directly at the hotel - the owner is very helpful. The rooms correspond to the description, are sufficiently equipped, clean and pleasant. There is a kitchenette, a fridge and a large terrace on the roof of the hotel with seating and a parasol (beautiful sunset in the evening). The hotel is located in the very center of Makhinjauri, everything you need is within walking distance (shops, restaurants, ATM, beach, public transport stop). A beautiful pebble beach with the possibility of renting sunbeds and umbrellas, a beach bar and a coast guard. In the high season, you need to expect increased vehicle traffic on the main coastal road if you are traveling by car.

Nice place for one or two nights - located nearby the road, so many objects are close: bus stop, train station, shops, bakery, beach. It is possible to stay with a dog. No breakfasts - but the owner gave us a bottle of home made wine as a gift, which was very nice. Hot shower and many towels, very convenient.
