A truly wonderful place — evenings on the terrace with a breathtaking view are simply incomparable. The house has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Even though there are no air conditioners in the bedrooms, it stayed pleasantly cool inside. I’ll put it this way: anyone who tries it won’t regret it! The host was very welcoming — he greeted us with fresh fruit on arrival and even gave us some for the road. It was a lovely gesture. Definitely recommend! It was in a perfect location only a short walk to both the town and the beach. Easy access with vehicle parking right next to the property and a perfect view across the marina. Our host Allen was the perfect host and was more than happy to help with everything from restaurant recommendations to recommendations rations of things to see and tours.

Me and my family had an amazing stay at Apartment Alen in Makarska. The location is the most perfect spot of the entire town —it is right in the port, so everything was within walking distance: the main beach the old town and the promenade. But the best part is the forest behind the property that leads to some stunning rock beaches covered with pine trees where we had a great time far from the crowds on the central beach. There were lots of little fish so we enjoyed some great snorkelling. There is even a spot right next to the house where people jump off cliffs into the water—very fun to watch and a great thrill if you're into it. The view from the place was just spectacular. Being in the port, we had this beautiful scene of the city, the port, and the impressive mountains behind it all. The terrace was covered with a lovely live vine, keeping it cool so we could enjoy being outside even in the peak of the heat. Inside, the rooms were fantastic. The beds were big and comfy, and the air conditioning worked well to keep the entire apartment cool. We also appreciated the shutters for total darkness at night. Parking was a non-issue with two dedicated spots that were always available, thanks to a barrier keeping out non-guests. The host was fantastic—quick to respond, offered to bring us fresh linens and towels during our stay, and even gave us a bottle of delicious local olive oil.

Amazing clean apartment, very well equiped, parking place for car next to it, tarrace with best view for Biokovo mountains and marina with luxury jachts . Few steps to beaches, markets and restaurants. Highly recommended for families. Host very friendly, and ready for help on demand at any time of day. He suprised us we got starting package with shower gel and shampoo, many towels, fresh fruits, candies, mineral water etc and finally when we check out suprised us again with a small gift😉

The apartment is situated straight in the harbor of Makarska, we enjoyed the view very much. The location of the apartment is absolutely fantastic and Alen is the nicest host. He brought us the most delicious fruits and veggies! I highly recommend this apartment. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful apartment with amazing view. It was very clean and spacious. Location is perfect in the middle of Makarska but the surrounding is very quiet. The biggest advantage is the host Alen. He was very helpful and he care about us. It was really a pleasure to be there. Highly recommended!

We loved this apartment. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The views were magnificent especially from the outside area where we spent many hours just watching the boats come and go. Its location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from a serviced beach and a great selection of restaurants but still feels very secluded. Our host was very helpful and attentive. We really enjoyed the bowl of fruit and bottle of wine he left for us in the apartment. We would be delighted to stay at this apartment again in the future.
