Overview
Set amidst the Heidiland region in "Heidi's" village of Maienfeld, the Swiss Heidi Hotel offers a large terrace, LCD TVs and free internet in all rooms, as well as free parking. Light dishes and regional wines can be enjoyed in the restaurant or on the large terrace. Each room features a flat-screen TV, a well-lit work area and offers panoramic mountain views. You can visit the Heidi Village, which inspired Johanna Spyri to write the famous story of Heidi. In the Heidi Village you can visit Heidi's House, the museum and the souvenir shop. Heidiland Golf Club is a 15-minute walk away. Each day, there is a free give-away of 2 green fees for the golf club, offered on a first come, first serve basis to those with a license to play. The Swiss Heidi Hotel can be reached within 2 minutes from the train station or by car within 2 minutes from the Maienfeld exit of the A13 / E43 motorway.

“Highly Recommended”
We were greeted by Katya on reception and welcomed back. She realised we had visited a year before. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast catered for just about everyone. As well as non-milk plant drinks they have lactose free milk so I was able to enjoy museli for my breakfast. Selection of yoghurt, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses. Plus much more. Good location, just a short stroll into Maienfeld. Bistro meals available. Very friendly staff.

“Good potential, but poor comfort and management”
Good location to use as starting point to explore the region. The room was very big. The free parking space is also very convenient. Breakfast is OK, in line with basic swiss breakfast.

“Very comfortable hotel and nice staff”
Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming both at front desk and at the breakfast restaurant. Room was perfect temperature. Bed size was good for two people. Shower is small but water temperature and pressure very good. I very much like the large arrows in the elevator showing which floor to select. Makes it very clear.

Good for a stop over on the way to the mountains. It has a large paddling pool and I recommend taking the bathing gear in hot weather.

Had a very large and comfortable suite. The hotel is ideally located near Heididorf and has a large surface carpark for motor enthusiasts like me.
