Hostal La Isla is a 5-minute walk from the historic centre of Menorca’s capital, Mahon, and 700 metres from the Port. It offers free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception. “Small room at a reasonable price not far from the town centre”
The room was small but had everything I needed for a short stay. It is convenient to have a bar at the property although I did not eat there. The staff were welcoming. The location was convenient for visiting the town.

The staff were amazing - so kind and helpful (with taxi's, helping me and my two year old with our luggage, etc.), the housekeeping staff were so nice and helpful as well. The rooms were very clean and in good shape.

“Bad”
I made a booking for 2 adults and a 5-year old child via Booking. We were given a tiny room with only 1 double bed. The staff communicated this is normal and the child needs to sleep in the same bed. I dont think this is normal. First time we experience this, sleeping (very baddly) 3 people in a 140cm large bed. Instead, the hostal should have refused this booking or offered a room with beds for 3 guests. The room was also expensive. Bad service and zero apology.

“Great simple pension for a stay in Mahon”
Great location in Mahon, room was comfortable (very simple, as expected for the price and star rating). Breakfast very reasonable, friendly and helpful staff.

“Good value hotel close to the centre.”
The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful. Did not have food at the hotel but drinks in the bar were reasonably priced. Room cleaned everyday and fresh towels.
