“Perfect place to stay in Tahiti. Amazing hosts, accommodation, location & vibe. A piece of paradise!”

We primarily chose this accommodation for its perfect location, and we were not disappointed. Situated right on a beautiful black sandy beach (literally out the back gate) for swimming and snorkelling, next door to a peaceful nature reserve with historic monuments, food trucks and a cultural craft centre, and not far down the road from local supermarkets, restaurants and churches. We also loved our room which was spacious and comfortable opening on to a lush lawn and garden setting with birds and water views. But the real highlight was our amazing hosts, Guy and Ingrid, who treated us like family, and looked after us so kindly in so many ways. We arrived in the middle of the night and they were up to greet us and get us settled in. Guy and Ingrid drove us to various places, took us to the markets, invited us to share an amazing seafood breakfast with them, and were always on hand to help with anything, as well as giving us the space to do our own thing. This was our first time in French Polynesia, and we can't think of a better way to experience it than with these lovely and generous people. Ideal spot right on the beach. It was close to Mama’s restaurant an a couple of food trucks. Two supermarkets were a short walk away.

Great location by the beach with views of Moorea although only from the beach- not the room- Though you really need a car. It's a long walk to the local shops. Food trucks next door at busy beach times.

Guy and Ingrid from my arrival made me feel so welcome. They are both very kind and joyful people. The accommodation is so lovely, real Tahitian vibe with the beach and best sunset just a few steps away.

The location is great, next to a very nice beach and closeby foodtruck and restaurant Mama’s (fresh tuna is recommended). The hosts are really nice and the room is spacious.

Guy and Ingrid are exceptionally nice, we got invitation for a perfect dinner at the last evening! The Appartment is also perfect, beach style! We enjoyed a lot!

“Beautiful Pointe Venusl”

After 2 months in French polynesia, this was the perfect place to spend our final 3 days. The location is beautiful, so no wonder it is popular with local Tahitians. It provides a great base for exploring the island, but don't forget to spend time in Pointe Venus and take in the sunsets over Mo'orea. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming, we will never forget our stay.😁

Fantastic hosts, wonderfull place

“The best beach location and wonderful hosts.”

The location of the property is at one of the most beautiful sunset beaches in Tahiti and historic area. The hosts were very helpful with any advice you needed to enjoy the area , food , restaurants and transport. The actual room/ kitchenette and the bathroom were spacious and superbly equipped. Wi-fi was one of the best . Exceptionally clean, private and walking distance to the supermarkets, food trucks and a lunch restaurant Mama's Beach House. Excellent stay for Tahiti and incredibly kind owners , Guy and Ingrid, who hosted a wonderful locally sourced and home made dinner. Their 2 dogs were lovely to have around and gentle.

Great host and what a location 👏 Thanks again for everything. It was the perfect start for our honeymoon!

Super friendly host, excellent location next to the beach. Local festivals on the beach and they ended nicely at the night. Excellent place.

Everything was amazing. Guy was the perfect host and his wife was lovely too. The apartment was separate from the main house and right on the beach. It was brilliantly equipped, everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom. A few friendly dogs which only made our stay more enjoyable! Guy gave us advice on things to do and places to visit. Would recommend this apartment 100% and would love to come back one day. Merci Guy! Liz & Paul

“So warm lodge (cant sleep), drunk owners”

We were there 3 days and we slept maybe 6hours because this little lodge is sooo warm!!! When we opened the windows the bugs just come in and we heard everything from the neighbours or from the owners.. This vacations was our worst because the owners drink allmost everytime ( they are next to the lodge, have one yard) it was pretty uncomfortable because when we wanted to go to the beach we saw/hear this all the time! The beach would be nice if wouldnt be there 1million people all the time. The afternoon before our departure the owner come to us (he was drunk) for talk/invited for drink (we are anti-alcoholic) my boyfriend wanted to pay the bill, but the owner insisted he will come in the morning before we go for the money. (We told to him we had to go early (5:30am) but he didnt care.) Next morning we waited but he didnt show up, we couldnt wait more so we went to the airport! After when we arrived at airport he come after us (with car, still drunk, in dirty pijamas) and scream we didnt pay...when we said we wanted yesterday and morning but he didnt show up, he just continue "dont care dont care just want my money!" We were 5 different place (on other islands too) everybody were so nice, so we never met that kind of people as them and never was problem like this!!) If you want a nice, peacefull, quite holiday then choose other place....you will save yourself a lot of trouble and unfair situation!
