“Peaceful Stay with Wonderful Hospitality”

Green Palace is a wonderful place to stay in Maharagama. Although it is located in the heart of the town and close to many amenities, the environment is calm and free from the usual city noise, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The host, Ms. Maleeka Muthumala, is extremely friendly and generous. She kindly offered us a late checkout to match our flight time at no extra charge and made sure we had morning tea every day. The helper was also very friendly and always ready to assist. The room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with both air conditioning and a fan. The bathroom was also large and had hot water facilities. Overall, the stay was worth every penny. Everything was pleasant, relaxing, and convenient. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property had a very homely and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, the surroundings were quiet, and everything was kept spotless. I also appreciated the convenient location close to town.

Beautiful, spacious and clean house. A king size bed and large room made it very comfortable. Anu the housekeeping was outstanding, if I could I'd gladly take her to South Africa :)) Maleeka kindly offered me dinner on the last night, which was cooked to perfection by Anu. The shops are a short walking distance.

Our stay at the Green Palace Maharagama was nothing short of wonderful. For three days, my wife and I felt completely at home in this peaceful haven, surrounded by lush greenery. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was Malika, the warmest and most gracious host we have ever met in all our travels. Her kindness, care, and generosity touched our hearts in a way words cannot fully express. Malika, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay so special. We will cherish these memories and without a doubt, we will be back.

“Best Homestay in Colombo Maharagama”

We had booked the homestay for four nights and it was clearly one of the best places we have ever stayed in Srilanka. The owner Mrs. Maleeka is an EPITOME of kindness and she treated us with so much love and hospitality throughout the stay. She has a full time caretaker who stays within the same house and two adorable and friendly dogs. The owner also stays in the same house and the bedrooms with attached bathrooms are given for private use. However the entire common areas including large living room, dining area, TV lounge are all available for use as well. You can also discuss breakfast options with them. The location is about 20 minutes by tuk tuk which was easily available in the main road, which is barely a few metres away. Good options for restaurants as well. It was the perfect stay, thanks to Mrs. Maleeka and we would highly recommend their homestay for both short as well as long stays!

“Home away from home”

The owner of the house is extremely helpful, honest, and supportive. She even offered tea and breakfast, which were not included in the booking. It is a lovely house and a comfortable room. I highly recommend this accomodation to female travelers who seek safe accommodation. Thank you so much Muthumala. Hope to stay there next time.

The house is quite nice, the amenities are good, it has a handy location and the lady who works at the house (who also lives at the property) was kind and helpful.

“Excellent stay in a peaceful and comfortable home at an economical cost”

Our second stay here and completely satisfied with the facilities, comfort, location and helpfulness of Maleeka the owner who lives here. There are 3 air conditioned Rooms with en suite and hot water (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) all with private entrances We had a spacious and comfortable room downstairs with a King size bed. Secure fencing and gates with keys to the front gate to enter without disturbing anyone late at night. This is a peaceful haven down a quiet private street that leads to a dead end; so no through traffic and away from the bustle of the city. Huge house and garden providing lots of tranquil spaces to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Only a short walk away from public transport, city shopping, fruit and veg stores and restaurants. Highly recommended for a pleasant and hassle free stay - short or long term.

The owner texted me to cancel the reservation. He had a change of plans. We didn't get a place to live, so we had to find a new one as soon as possible

Place is very calm, quite and convenient. Noora is a lovely pet. Owner Mrs. Malika is very kind and her assistant Sasi is very supportive.

Ms. Maleeka was extremely helpful and caring. Green Palace is spacious and clean. You can see lots of birds at the property. Garden has space for walking. Food and hospitality were exceptional. Hot water is available at all times. I would recommend others to visit the property.

Nice and quiet location. Felt like home and room was huge and super clean. There was a aircon but never used it as room gets natural cool breeze. And thank you for the Sri Lankan style breakfast and drinks. Absolutely loved it 👍
