Been here 3 or 4 times - one of my favourite places to stay. A very cozy and beautiful place! Great location, attentive and responsive staff who quickly helped with any requests, a delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, and an excellent shower.

The pathway and tiny timber bridges to the lodge are hilarious - some may say daring. The lodge is absolutely superb! Ralf a genuinely friendly, accommodating host. I booked the river suite - which was spectacular. Large, clean, tastefully decorated and furnished. Huge bathroom with a bathtub right by the river and an awesome view while enjoying a bubble bath listening to the honks of the Hippos on the opposite bank of the Okawango River. Loved it! Wasn't my last stay!

“Deluxe River Camping with a gourmet note”

The road getting there is an adventure in itself ...the welcome was ok. Sadly I did not get the tent I had booked but was accomodated for the other 2 nights. The entire set-up is great, clean, safe. Communication is predominantly in German (German owner) which was rather disconcerting. The in-house chef was amazing - and whipped up a meal covering my allergies (as correspondance had sadly not reached him). Management could be improved. The food is amazing, the location to die for and the 'tents' deluxe. I went on a boat tour and a game-drive to the NP .... both highly recommended. I will be back!

Great views over the Kavango/Okavongo River, with a large deck area to really soak in the river frontage. Being adjacent to the Mahango game reserve, good opportunities to spot elephants and various antelope coming down to drink at the river. Spent an afternoon lazing on the river with a fishing line in the water, great birdlife. Rooms were great, food was excellent.

Everything. Dinner was amazing!!! Chef Abisai was fantastic! Cabbage Soup was best we have ever had anywhere in the world.

“Great lodge with amazing view and excellent food!”

Great lodge directly at the shore of the Okavango river with view to the other edge where Elefants, Buffalos etc are eating. There are many Hippos in the water right in front of the tents. Tents are tiny but very comfortable, clean and have a spacious modern bathroom. The food is excellent!! The lodge offers gane drives to Buffalo & Mahango park as wells as boat cruises. Definetely can recommend it!

“Amazing place to stay”

This was one of our favourite stays of our holiday. Amazing place. Although described as a tent you didn't think you were in a tent - it was a lovely room with great views of the river and a very comfy bed. Did a fantastic sundown cruise and saw lots of hippos - very knowledgeable guide. Food was delicious and staff very friendly. A perfect stay.

“Experience the best of Caprivi strip”

The rooms were all directly located at the river side, you saw an amazing sunset and you could see hippos. Also only very few boats to disturb the feeling. In the night, you never knew how far the hippos are, as they were so loud. The chef presented an amazing local menu with zebra kebab. Very tasty!

My mum and I had a wonderful 3 days at Ndhovu. Our room was spectacular, the staff were wonderful and the chef produced miracles every night. We enjoyed the activities the lodge provided and loved our breakfasts on the river deck. Great wildlife and birding.

Very different. Heard the hippos and lions at night. Danny was a very good host.

Everything. Most of all, the sound of the Band Lion Roar, with The Hippos in the rhythm section. King size.

We did a boat sunset tour and saw many birds. The tents are nice. Dinner great will all the guests at a long table.

Everything was perfect, the location, the staff, the food (they made vegan just for me and with very good quality), the room was incredible, and the game drive and the boat cruise were both great.

Location, view over river, lovely tents, fantastic personnel, personal touch at dinner where we met people from different countries around a ‘family’-type dinner table. Food was great!!
