I never had the chance to stay there. The to this place was 1.4km off the main road and was only accessible by a 4x4. Me and my partner drive scooters we tried go go there but the hard deep mud ridges made it impossible. The engine block kept banging so we had no choice but to turn around. I dont know ow what's happening with booking.com lately its going to pot. A lack of information on this place and different prices showing when you actually book somewhere. In Madagascar they seriously need to sort this out.

“No-frills stay close to the beach”

If you’re looking for a no-frills stay with a family, look no further. Charles is very warm and friendly — he did sweet things like showed us how he pollinated vanilla and gave us some of his son’s birthday cake! The property is very close to the beach and to the ferry over to Sainte Marie, which was ideal for us. Coffee at breakfast was good, and we liked having the terrace on the front of the bungalow.

“Feel at home while far away from home”

Where to start.... The place is simply amazing. Super quiet and relaxing, with everything you need. Just a couple mins walk from the beach and from all the restaurants and ammenities. The staff is SOOOOOOO caring. You will feel at home. Also....i ate the best soup i have ever had in my life. Could not reccommend more.

there wasn’t anyone to let us in. we couldn’t reach anyone via Telefone :( very disappointing. we needed to stay elsewhere.

Mimie and Charles are some of the most welcome folks I’ve come across. As a solo traveler, just gotten on Madagascar for the first time, this was just what i needed. Close to the ocean, I found tranquility, hikes, friendly locals, good local food made by Mimie & tips and tool of Charles. Will definitely come back at some point.
