I loved my stay here. It's really central and the supermarket is right there at the corner.

Each bed has its own fan and bathrooms are quite big. The common area is very cute.

“Comfortable and peaceful stay by the beach”

Excellent location, 2 minutes from the beach and the colectivo stops. This is a peaceful hostel / hotel with just one dorm and several private rooms. The beds were very comfy, good pressure in the shower (with hot water) and the kitchen was a plus. Ernesto and his wife were more than happy to help or simply chat. Great place for diving enthusiasts or anyone who wants to have a chill stay in Mahahual. Not a party hostel!

“Central place to stay”

Simple hostel in the centre of Mahahual. Everything can easily be reached in walking distance (bus station, cafés/restaurants, beaches, dive schools). It was quite when I was in the hostel, I was the only one. Owner/Host is very nice.

It's a lovely 😍 hostel built in the traditional Spanish pension style. Owner very helpful & beds 🛌 well comfy..Kitchen well stocked.

Couldn't have asked for a better host then Ernesto, he was super nice and accommodating. I had to change my dates, room, arrived after regular check in time and extended my stay and it was all no problem, he was super nice and helpful about it. I stayed in a private room, which was nice, clean and cozy, perfect to relax after my days of diving in Mahahual.

Nice location and room, great seafood around the corner, very friendly host, highly recommended.

The hostel is very cute. There weren't too many other travellers when I was there (I was by myself in the dorm), so I can't say a lot about how easy it is to socialize - however, the kitchen and the backyard definitely gives the option to do so. The beds were very comfortable, and there was water to refill bottles (for a few pesos). The location is amazing, only a few minutes from the beautiful beaches. The owner is very friendly and made me feel welcome right away, sharing tips and recommendations for the area. I wish I could have stayed longer!
