“Lovely relaxing rural retreat with a warm welcome from the host!”
Beautiful and unique B&B with a lovely spa area which we had to ourselves in the evenings after a long day of sightseeing. Surrounded by fields and close to the spa town of Bagnoles which we enjoyed visiting.

Great conversion of an old barn complex with the added luxury of a pool and sauna shared between just 4 rooms (although we had to ourselves as it was out of season). Excellent breakfast with lots of local produce including fabulous cheese ( if you have time maybe pop into nearby Bagnoles d'orne and visit The Fromagerie Shop - run by our hosts husband)

“A quiet little place to stay”
A really nicely renovated place. Great rooms with a nice view of the french countryside. 15minute drive from local town with good facilities for dinner. A nice breakfast. The owner and her 2 dogs were always available if you need anything.

“A wonderful first experience of chambres d’hôtes.”
Our room was beautifully decorated with an excellent shower room. The bed was extremely comfortable. The home-cooked table d’hôtes dinner was great and we especially enjoyed sampling the cheeses chosen by our fromager host. Breakfast was excellent. The hosts were welcoming and kindly allowed me to use my limited skills in speaking French. Dining and breakfasting at a long table with guests from France, Belgium and the Netherlands was a fantastic opportunity to exchange experiences and opinions. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very nice.

The whole experience was exceptional. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The property was beautiful and comfortable but also well maintained and clean. The food was superb. Celine is an amazing cook.

“An exceptional property!”
The property is stunning, beautifully restored and surrounded by lovely scenery. Our room was immaculate, well decorated and extremely clean. We really liked the aromatherapy shower and the sitting on the huge terrace with a glass of wine watching the sun setting over the surrounding fields. The facilities at La Brocherie are just superb!!! There has obviously been lots of thought put into the place, the pool and sauna were fantastic, the kids (and my husband) enjoyed the games room, there is a gym and lots of lovely places to sit and enjoy the beautiful gardens, Breakfast was a real treat with lots of fresh local produce, I loved the local cheese which we were told came from the shop run by the family. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to return and stay longer.

“Lovely stop”
Lovely short stay in this well appointed, well laid out B and B. Friendly welcome ( especially from the dogs! ), beautifully designed and decorated room with plenty of space, peaceful location, very comfy bed and a very nice spa area to relax after a days cycling. Excellent breakfast as well.
