A hidden gem of a town with a wonderful castle restaurant, a local very friendly winemaker, and lots of nearby quaint villages. We arrived cold and tired from a long drive through the Alps and the owner brought us wood for the fire and extra blankets. Extremely comfortable apartment with great views of the surrounding vineyards.

Wonderful apartment opening directly to a private courtyard and up a few stairs to the gardens (though different from this photo, which shows the two-bedroom lower apartment). Our one-bedroom apartment on the upper level was just right in size and design. Full small kitchen where we could prepare meals from fresh local produce. A bottle of Arneis awaiting us on arrival. View out the window over the courtyard was great. Sunny and bright. Outdoors terraced gardens were terrific. We sat outdoors having a wine, a lunch, a dinner every day. Very friendly and helpful host. Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the small but very cute kitchen. Location under the castle Magliano Alfieri was an excellent location for exploring the Piemonte by car and by foot. A glorious stay at a wonderful property with a generous and friendly owner.

It was set in a perfect location just a few minutes away from the castle. The property has a perfect rustic but modern balance. It was very clean and the host was excellent!

Very cozy and authentic house in the heart of Piedmont. We enjoyed every second we spent there - apartment, garden, premises, location & surroundings - everything was great. The house is located in a very secluded area, though a small village grocery store and some restaurants are reachable within just couple of minutes walk. Apartment is beautifully designed inside&outside and gives you a very special atmosphere. Michele was extremely helpful and friendly. 10/10 and we will definitely come back :)
