The area is lovely and peaceful with an amazing view, and we had the whole place to ourselves most of the time. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience, particularly for those with a car, as it offers convenient access to various destinations. The hotel provides a calm atmosphere for relaxation. The room was well-equipped with all necessities, although the height of the bed might be a concern for some, especially those with children. And it is no TV but for us it wasn’t problem. The bathroom was very clean and provided with everything you can need. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the breakfast, which boasted a wide array of choices. Managed by the warm and hospitable owners, a mother-daughter duo, the hotel exudes a homely vibe. The picturesque view from the garden of the mountains and whole area near, complete with a charming sheep there 🙈 and three beautiful , friendly dogs ( which are closed in another area but you can go closer to see them) adds to the charm. While the swimming pool was closed during my visit, its promise of enjoyment in warmer weather. Whether it's relaxing by the poolside or admiring the scenic garden, this hotel offers a truly enjoyable retreat. I highly recommend it for a memorable stay. We will definitely come back 🫶

“Beautiful big garden with a great swimming pool, amazing views, rich food and genenerous staff.”

We had great time in Cascina San Bernardo. There is a beautiful big garden full of flowers and plenty of sitting options. In the lower part of the garden there is a big swimming pool with a nice relaxing area and beautiful views at the vineyars. I would like to highlight the owner Monica with her mum who are really kind and welcoming. The breakfast was very rich and delicious (Gluten free bread and cookies were also provided). It is possible to order drinks and snacks in the afternoon and enjoy them at the swimming pool, as well as to order a dinner. The dinner was prepared by Monica and her mum and was super varied and tasty. The accomodation was very clean as well as the whole area.

We have travelled across the world and this place is by far one of the best. Such a beautiful location and the surroundings are perfect. We were extremely well taken care of by the hosts and they were so good with our son. Breakfast was incredible, we loved the afternoon drinks by the pool and antipasti dinner was amazing. Our room was comfortable and clean. Wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely come back soon. Make sure you book a visit very soon because this is an incredible place! The warmest biggest grazie to Monica and the family :)

We loved the fact that there was a lot of attention to the details. You could sense that Monica and Silvia have a great sense of hospitality. The breakfast was perfect (with so many nice homemade things), the rooms and property very clean and the aperitivo in the evening sun was 👌🏼. Lots of nice places to eat in the neighbourhood too. We would highly recommend this place!

“A charming base from which to explore this fascinating area.”

Buffet breakfast offered a good range of choices; cappuccino elegantly served with the froth in separate jug. Beautiful view across vineyards to distant hilltop villages. Warm and friendly staff and invaluable guidance by Monica on local restaurants. Historic village of Magliano Alfieri with its massive castle is a perfect local walk.

The atmosphere was incredible. The amazing view made you relax and just be. The breakfast was delicious and we are even missing it now on our further trip in Italy. The family is just sweet and very down to earth.

We had a truly amazing stay at Cascina San Bernando. We felt very welcome and taken care of, during the entire stay. The cascina is a beautiful place, run by a lovely family. The breakfast was also perfect with the best cakes and coffee! We would definitely recommend others to stay here.
