Overview
This beautiful 16th-century stone house is in the Umbrian hills and has lovely views of Lake Trasimeno. It is an ideal location for a relaxing break. Set at an altitude of 450 metres, it offers breathtaking views of olive groves and woods. The hotel is decorated in an elegant, 19th-century style. The EcoResort Il Cantico della Natura was refurbished using recycled materials, according to the hotel’s environmentally-friendly philosophy. You are welcomed to your room with a variety of extras to make you feel at home. Each room is air-conditioned and features elegant furnishings and luxurious materials. Relax in the intimate wellness centre featuring a hot tub, sauna, Turkish bath. You can also enjoy a bath tub for wine bath. Connect to the internet at the free internet point and enjoy delicious Umbrian cuisine, vegetarian and vegan dishes at the elegant restaurant. All dishes are created using the finest natural and organic ingredients. You can even take part in cookery classes to learn how to create these dishes yourself. At EcoResort Il Cantico della Natura, it is also possible to have a personal yoga teacher on demand every day. The place is ideal for event and holistic retreat having a large common meeting room. There is also a shop with the farm product, excellent organic olive oil and local food excellences.

Amazing place! Beautiful views and pool, rooms are extremely well-appointed. The food was incredible -breakfast was abundant and delicious and the dinner menu was unique- and the staff was extremely cordial. Great hiking trails directly from the property.

The hotel is in an old and special renovated building, we got a spacious room for 3 people and a dog, a suite with 2 rooms, a pleasant bath and shower, we visited on a winter day, there was underfloor heating, the room was warm and cozy, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was nice, the location of the hotel is amazing, remote but it suited us, we came for the night on the way to the north.

“WORST HONEYMOON EXPERIENCE”
UPDATE: The owner Francesco Micci reached out to me threatening to sue me if i dont remove my review from Booking, which I do not plan on doing, since I think its important for people to read an honest review of my experience. For the sake of clarity, from his comment below you can see he still stands by his ridiculous claim that we dont decide which suite we get by booking it here, yet if you look at all the pictures of the "Suite with Spa", it clearly shows one type of room only. The other suites are mixed which is what we got. It appears he is misleading people by showing the best room with jacuzzi as the suite with Spa and then giving guests other rooms on arrival. The first two pics is what we booked, the send two pics is what we got. Erika the receptionist was nice but honestly the experience overall was terrible given the fact that we didnt get the room we had booked for our honeymoon.

i loved how relaxing and chill was the place, loved the view and the room we stayed, especially the spa was wonderful. The staff was very kind and let u felt like you were at home, very lovely place i would surely recommend this place to my friends or family. The food at dinner was superb nothing to say about it i really compliment the chef who made it. and so for the breakfast as well really good.
