The location is perfect, a lot of small cafes and eateries around the locality and of course, the primary pier is just 10 minutes from here. Airport also close by. Staff is great, especially Luna, she went out of her way to help and accommodate us and made us feel comfortable & welcomed.

The location is just beautiful! Right on Ban Tai beach. Lots of sun beds around the main pool & bean bags on the beach. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, clean, good showers and all have private little pools which is just awesome. Rooms are cleaned every day & fresh towels provide each day. The restaurant/bar is lovely looking out onto the beach with a good selection for breakfast & food available till 4pm. The staff are all amazing! Tang at reception is the loveliest human & was so helpful with arranging day trips, booked us tickets to a Mauy Tai match & recommended local restaurants. The restaurant/bar/kitchen staff were so friendly & housekeeping staff too. 10-15 minute Taxi/bike ride to Fisherman’s village for shopping & bars & restaurants.

“Nice stay but not Great”

The Staff were incredible! Honestly very responsive and very nice and always there to make your vacation better. The location when compared to the other beaches I visited is also great and the beach is clean. Multiple markets are walking distance from the place which is extra convenient. A Muay Thai fitness spot is right next the hotel/resort which is very resourceful if you are into that.

We booked the room that had pool with beach view. Amazing view with great customer service had everything that we needed 🙌 You are able to rent bike or book activities from the reception. Staff working there was very polite and helpful. 100% recommended

THIS BEACH is exceptional! I drove to many other beaches but no one beat this one! It’s calm, it’s beautiful and clean. The location is a calmer location - so you always have to drive for some variety of bars and restaurants/shops. I also liked the fact that you could rent a scooter directly at the accomodation.

“Nothing like the photos: poor conditions, stained bedding, and a promised refund that was never hono”

Avoid this property and be extremely careful before booking. What we found on arrival looked very different from the photos online. The room was in poor condition, the bedding was stained, and the overall standard of cleanliness and maintenance was far below what we expected, as can be seen in the photos. A different room was offered, but it was essentially the same and still not suitable for us. We cancelled immediately upon arrival because the place was simply not acceptable to stay in. At the property, we were told we would receive a refund within one week. Afterward, that promise was not honored. After this experience, I also noticed other reviews describing similar situations, including complaints about poor conditions and refund promises that were later denied. In hindsight, we should have taken those reviews more seriously. If you book here, make sure everything is confirmed in writing. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise caution.

It’s close to the beach, secluded. Great if you have your own transport otherwise everywhere is far and you will sit in traffic for a while. Luna was great to deal with over emails. The man at the reception is friendly too.

The property was beautifully clean and spacious. The private pool was amazing. We had the corner family room and it was brilliant! The beach is just beautiful. We ate lunch at the restaurant every lunch time, the food was exceptional. It was some of the best food we have eaten in Thailand (and we have been a lot!) The staff were lovely, super smiley and welcoming. Thank you so much, we will be back very soon!!!

Great location on a popular beach, wonderful staff, delicious food at reasonable prices, and spacious rooms. The rooms could use a bit of refreshing due to the high number of tourists, which is вполне understandable. It’s especially nice to hear French being spoken — it almost feels like being on the Côte d’Azur. Special thanks to Bon and Tang for their excellent service, and to all the staff for the warm welcome!

“Excellent hotel with beach view and lovely staff!”

One of our favorite stays in Thailand. We had a room with a ”private pool” that was so nice. The room itself was very spacious and clean. Hotel pool and beach stools were also very good. Lovely beach and good food in the restaurant (i really recomennd trying their pad thai!). The staff were excellent and so welcoming/helpful. Also such a cutie dog there!

Lovely boutique hotel for the money with a pool outside your room door. One of the best beaches at your doorstep. Staff were very helpful.

Staff was helpful. Location was quiet, beautiful, but still convenient to get to other parts of Island. We ate at restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance and all were very good

The photos are very misleading. We chose a full beach front room with a private pool. In the picture the pool is a lovely blue colour and the area shown is bright. The reality is somewhat different. The pool and sitting area are completely shaded by overhanging trees. This means that the pool is constantly awash with leaves, it is also anything but blue in colour, more of a murky yellow. It is also cold, as it gets no sun, unlike the sea which is lovely and warm. I only tried it once, what a pity as we were so looking forward to relaxing around it. As a result we spent our time around the main pool area, which has easy access to the sea. My advice? Don't waste your money on a front sea view room, go for one of the cheaper options as you are definitely not getting what you think your money has paid for.
