“Clean, friendly and comfortable”
The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are well designed, comfortable and very clean and, important during a Madrid summer, the air conditioning is easy to operate and efficient. The roof top pool is a real bonus after a hard day trekking in the city sunshine. The location is close to two line 5 metro stations and only 10 minutes walk to Plaza Mayor, the heart of Madrid and there are numerous bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel.

“Handy to most things.”
Great location, easy to walk to all areas of Madrid. Little supermarket just up street, handy to buy food and necessities. Pool in the roof was small but good to cool off. Pool towels provided. Buffet breakfast had plenty to choose from. Good it had a safe.

The best thing about this hotel is definitely its location in Arganzuela; it’s a wonderful neighborhood to base yourself in Madrid.

“Could not be more suitable from every point of view.”
I was impressed before we had even checked in. One of the two English people in front of us was a young teenager who wanted to use her Spanish and the receptionist let her do so, eventually gently correcting some of her mistakes. That shows customer care to me. Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking the main road. However, such was the insulation we had no traffic noise AT ALL. The air con was very quiet as well and we could let it run at night without disturbing us. We have never had, in 25 years of travelling, such a superb buffet breakfast. A wide selection of fruits, meats, cheeses and also fried items with croissants, pain au raisin,bread, cake and all topped up regularly. Juices, teas, coffees, cereals, milk - including oat milk if you are dairy free and so on. Couldn’t fault it. The location is superb. You don’t need a travel card as you are with 10 minutes of the main area including Calle Bahai which is loaded with excellent tapas bars. Miss this hotel and you will be the loser.

Nice hotel. Very clean . Beds very comfortable. Nice & quiet. Tea/coffee in room . Great location. Very pleasant staff. Rooms a bit on the small side. I would consider on the more expensive side . We only ate breakfast one morning. It had good choice but not very tasty & rather expensive. Restaurant was more like a canteen. Nice coffee shops nearby for way more reasonable breakfast.

“Great place in Central Madrid”
Great location, close to the main attractions and great bars/restaurants. I was there with my two kids, they loved the pool/jacuzzi. Staff was second to none, exceptionally helpfull. Rooms and other areas really clean. This is a 3- stars hotel, so don't expect bells and whistles, but if you are happy with a reasonable priced hotel with all things I've mentioned above, you will not be disappointed. To be honest, this is one of the best 3-star places I've ever stayed.

We were looking for a central hotel in Madrid to spend the first few days of our Spain and Portugal vacation at which we could recuperate comfortably from our long flight and which also provided a good value. Hotel Ganivet Porcelain fit this need well. The room was on the small side, but very clean and comfortable. It had a modern bathroom with nice linens and the hotel staff were very welcoming. Madrid is an expensive city and this hotel was a good value in a fairly central location.
