“Exceeded expectations”

Excellent location. I didn't have hugely high expectations as it was one of the cheaper options and said only 2 stars. Was very pleasantly surprised. Beautiful details of an old majestic building (large windows, good city view, crown molding, impressive foyer and reception). Helpful staff, seamless checkin, elevators, clean and renovated room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and memory foam pillow). Would definitely stay here again.

Well-appointed with good fittings, clean and functional. I had a great stay here. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The hotel has done well to equip their rooms - regardless of size - with a kind of "smart-room" design. Even the second room I had - a smaller one at a very good price - had its own toilet and shower built-in, again clean and efficient. The location is extraordinary, and perfect for any onward travel, especially by train, and there is a 24-hour taxi rank immediately outside. Reina Sofia is on the doorstep; there are fabulous bars right next door. Please bear in mind I was travelling alone and am used to smaller facilities (as long as they are like this!).

A major advantage of the hotel was its central location, it was truly close to everything. I could easily walk to all the attractions in Madrid. The room was a good size for one person, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the cleaning was excellent. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this accommodation, especially if you are traveling alone and want to be close to everything.

“Great Hotel”

Everything. Train just a walk across the road. Great if you travel through other regions. The staff are great. Breakfast is ample enough. Great value. I stayed in another hotel prior to this and I wished i knew about this hotel as it is not really that far from the centre anyway. We like walking so not an issue but was not hard to find taxis anyway.

I love the location of the hotel, as it is within 25-30 minutes from everything, plus I came to Madrid by train and it's a 10 minutes walk from the station, no need to pay for the taxi. The room was very clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and pillow as well.

Best location for people wanting to travel from Atocha early in the morning.Huge rooms at low price,easy check in.Although next to the station the neighborhood is secure with lots of bars and restaurants to eat something in the night opening at least till 22.30

The location of Hotel Mediodia Was perfect for our needs. Close to the Atocha Train Station and the Museums and Art Galleries. The room was comfortable, overlooking the square. The balcony doors allowed in light and air, yet when closed, shut off the sounds of the lively activities in the square. I intend to stay here again.
