the location was great, room was spotless and staff and customer service very good. We had the big room with 3 balconies and it was bright and airy. the neighbourhood is noisy but then everything is almost on your doorstep. I would stay here again.

“Lovely hostel in a great location!”
Great location - very close to Mercado San Miguel, and only a short walk to the Palace. Very warm welcome from the receptionist. As it was our first stay in Madrid she gave us a map and recommended places to eat and things to see. Although we walked from the train station, Opera, on the metro, is only a 5 minute walk away. Our room was exceptionally clean. We appreciated the free bottle of cava and tea and coffee making facilities. Our room was lovely - on a corner with 2 windows and Juliette balconies. A little street noise but to be expected given the central location and it didn’t affect our sleep. On our last morning we made use of the drop down table and chairs to have our breakfast in our room thanks to the local Carrefour express. We would definitely stay here again.
