“Central Room in the City”
Super available and kind staff. Easy check in & out. The room is tiny but very clean and modern. Bed was comfortable, temperature was perfect. Incredibly central location.

Location is great, right in Gran Vía but feeling quiet inside. The amenities provided really exceeded our expectations, we had coffee, tea, water, sweets and even a bottle of champagne.

Refurbishment almost finished, but didn't cause any problems or disturbances. Fantastic. Clean,central location, extremely helpful staff. 5 star at a budget price.

The room was large, plenty of room for open luggage. We received complimentary drinks which was a lovely thought. Our view was the main street, lots to see and hear. We had great communication with Carmen before arriving, lots of suggestions to where to eat, see and walk too. We want to thank Carmen for her concern and empathy when my wife became ill at the start of our holiday. It was greatly appreciated.

“Very good price/service ratio, perfect localization, nice reception.”
Very nice and helpful reception :-). Very comfortable beds. Everything clean, new, arranged in a pleasant way (important for winter visit – the regular wall heaters, fully controlled by the visitor). We had the inner yard room - perfectly quiet despite the middle of the city localization. Localization was perfect for our purpose - visiting three main Madrid's museums: Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza and Reina Sofia, all in 15-20 minutes walking distance (plus plenty of places to eat / drink wine / watch Madrid’s life). Easy metro connections to the railway station (in our case Chamartin) and the airport.

“Perfect getaway in Madrid, a great hotel to explore the city”
Location was amazing, right on Gran Via, close to everything, metro, shops, etc. Room was quite large with a nie little balcony, bathroom was great, and the shower was powerful. Easy access to hotel, small lift to get you to the 5th floor if you don't want to walk. Staff where super helpful and friendly.

On the Main street - so excellent location for walking everywhere. It was a pleasant surprise, tucked away and it was quiet and the beds were comfortable and the bathroom facilities a little compact but we were all happy with the Hostal. Only had 1 night, great place for a short stay
