Overview
This smart, modern hotel is set in the residential area of Carabanchel Alto, 6 km from Madrid’s historic city centre. It offers a terrace and free Wi-Fi, 150 metres from San Francisco Metro Station. Rooms at Eco Via Lusitana feature wooden floors and contemporary décor. All include a minibar, and a work desk. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer. A buffet breakfast is served daily and the hotel also has a cafeteria serving drinks and snacks. There are bars and restaurants within 10 minutes’ walk and the Islazul Shopping Centre is 15 minutes' walk away. The Via Lusitana is set just next to the Aguacate Industrial Estate and 10 minutes’ drive from the Leganés Technology Park. You can reach the centre via the nearby metro station in around 30 minutes. Eco Via Lusitana has private parking for a fee and is 1.5 km from the M-40 Motorway. Madrid-Barajas Airport is 20 minutes’ drive away.

“A great hotel with professional and friendly staff.”
Check in was very quick and easy. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and any questions we had were politely and professionally dealt with. The room was clean, tidy and well presented offering a in-room safe, TV and a mini bar with some snacks and drinks on sale for a reasonable cost. The bathroom has a bath and shower with soap and shampoo available along with a bidet. The temperature of the shower at 10.30am was super hot and had excellent pressure which was fantastic. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept our room perfectly chilled to combat the Madrid heat. We were attending a concert at the Palacio Vistalegre which is about a 20/25min walk from the hotel or 10 min in an Uber which cost around €10 one way. There are a fair few restaurants and bars around so you do not need to head far to grab a drink or a bite to eat. Overall we found the hotel to fit our needs perfectly and we are booked to stay there again in June for another concert we are attending.

Bed was big, clean and comfortable. There is a metro station ( 11-green line- San Grancisco station) in 100 m. Hotel was super clean, breakfast was ok, there was yogurt, fresh fruits, good cheese, gaspaccio, cokies.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area within walking distance to the bus stop or the underground station. There are some restaurants and bars as well as supermarkets in a very close vicinity. The breakfast was very good and every day there were things to choose from. The personnel were very friendly and helpful, especially Sofia :)

The location was a bit far from the city centre but the metro station is very close. The neighbourhood seemed safe and nice. There were also a few restaurants which seemed nice.

“Get what you pay for”
You get what you pay for. For the price its a sound place to stay. Bed was comfy, staff are great and friendly, water was hot and the towels clean. If I am back for a 1 or 2 nights stay and want a cheap place to rest my head I would go back.

The room had everything in it that we needed and a bath was a bonus. The breakfast was simple, although some form of egg, such as boiled, would have been the only improvement we can recommend. This is our 2nd stay here and will use it again in the future.
