Overview
Set in a beautiful 18th-century building, Catalonia Las Cortes offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. It is located in Madrid City Centre, 10 minutes' walk from El Prado Museum. All rooms in Catalonia Las Cortes include classic décor and a flat-screen satellite TV. The impressive superior rooms and suites feature antique furnishings and authentic frescoes on their ceilings. Guest will also find a Nespresso® coffee machine and a kettle in the rooms as well as a complimentary welcome water bottle. All hotel rooms have smart TVs, which are equipped with Chromecast app. The restaurant is open for dinner daily and serves international dishes. There is also a cafeteria. The famous Parque del Retiro Park can be reached in 15 minutes on foot.

“Exceptional”
The location was excellent, in a quiet but central location. The hotel was elegantly understated and just the perfect place (for my) a city break. Staff were wonderful, accommodating and welcoming; they enabled me to visit a place (El Escorial) that I hadn’t realised was so close to Madrid; they checked for the best way to get there and enabled me to make the trip with confidence. I know I sound over effusive but this was the perfect place for me…each night I’d come back from dinner to find the curtains closed and a delicious chocolate to enjoy with my decaf coffee. Felt like luxury.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The service was warm, pleasant, and very helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent, and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. Another highlight was the breakfast, which was great and offered a very good selection. Highly recommended

“Great location for historic Madrid”
One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a long while. Well appointed, in a quiet street but in a good central location for historic Madrid. The hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. They took particular care to help us with our train reservations to Cordoba. Excellent breakfast. Just up the street is the lively Plaza Santa Ana, with lots of tapas bars and restaurants (including one of Hemingway's favourites). Down the street is a short walk to the galleries at the Prado and Museo Reina Sofia and the Retiro park. This was our first trip to Madrid, and staying at Catalonia las Cortes made it all the better, giving us a great base from which to explore the city.

“Relaxed, comfortable stay in ideally located hotel. We slept like logs.”
Location close to park and galleries and Plaza Mayor and metro stations, quiet street, comfortable bedroom, chocolates before bed! Snacks between 4-7pm very welcome after long day out and before late dinner. The staff were always helpful and never intrusive.
