Overview
Catalonia Goya is set in a 19th-century building, next to Velázquez Metro Station, in Madrid’s exclusive shopping district. It offers free Wi-Fi, and is 5 minutes’ walk from Retiro Park. The soundproofed rooms have air conditioning and feature wooden floors and elegant dark furniture. All rooms feature double-glazed Climalit windows. Each has flat-screen satellite smart TV equipped with Chromecast app, and there is a minibar and safe. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Fantastic stay at Catalonia Goya. Brilliant location. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Outstanding breakfast. A lovely albeit small pool to cool off in which came very much in handy due to the very hot weather! Overall a great stay.

“All-round excellent hotel in a lovely part of Madrid”
I was attending a wedding and it was perfectly located. The next day I walked down to the Retiro and the botanic gardens and it was also perfect for that. The staff were very helpful, the room was wonderful, I had no problems at all.

Very friendly and welcoming reception staff, fantastic location, very clean. I also loved the little touches such as welcome chocolates.
