“Nice place to stay in Vidzeme region”

Smeceres krogs met our expectations fully. We came to visit interesting places within beautiful Vidzeme region, and this place's location was very convenient for us. There is a restaurant on site, which does not have a very extensive offer on menu, but everything they offer is very tasty and made with heart. We've got very nice dinner as well as tasty breakfast. I want also to appraise staff for their perfect service and attitude. What is also important to mention that they have enough facilities to accomodate larger groups also. In winter there are cross country skiing activities available nearby.

No air conditioner

The property is located 5km from MX track Smeceres sils. Got very good breakfast and dinner there.

“It was ok-ish to stay just 1 night, but overall, I would not recommend this hotel. There were cheaper and better options”

The matrasses on beds were quite worn out and you could feel springs through. Only 2 days before our stay, we received a message that catering will not be available. The toilet had issues with filling back up. Approx 20min were needed before it fills up before another flush can be made. The walkways to main entrance were not cleaned, it was ankle-deep snow.

It was realy warm in the room and we had pot and coffee in the room.

Location is great if you plan to visit smeceres sils sky track. Extra points and a better review that might been for incredible pet friendliness! I definitely suggest visiting this place if you have a furry friend with.

“Perfect location for XC skiing getaway with delicious food!”

We stayed in Smeceres Krogs mainly because of the ideal location near XC skiing track which was indeed excellent both to begin and finish skiing sessions. However, we were surprised more by the level of hospitality and amazingly delicious food in the restaurant, which made our short skiing getaway even better. Everything served was extremely fresh, thoughtfully decorated and delicious. I would definitely recommend to try venison meatballs and “solianka” soup. Thank you for everything and see you again soon for upcoming skiing sessions!
