“Lovely hotel”
We had a lovely stay here. Great location, friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice view (even from a room not facing the rest of town). Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Madison

Close enough to the bridge to get a great view of the sunset on the river. The location is what this place has going for it and the balcony rooms. Trying to stay updated, but it is just old.

The people in the room next to us was out in the hallway yelling and talking loudly on their cell phone too someone else At 10;30pm they decided to take a shower, then they went back into the hallway just outside our door it sounded like and proceeded to talk on their cell phone. They kept slamming their room door every time they went in and out. I kept trying to go too sleep and could not. The last time I looked at the clock was at 12:30am I must have dosed off finally and these people was still out in the hallway .

The view was beautiful and the balcony was private. We were on the third floor and could see the bridge crossing over to Kentucy and the view of downtown Madison to the Smoke stacks towards Cliffy Falls.

“It was a great weekend getaway and we loved the Hillside Inn.”

Lovely room, lovely view from the balcony which was an unexpected bonus. Arrived at 1am exhausted after a particularly long day, night manager was friendly and helpful and very welcoming.
