“Travel in the off season. We do!”
Hadn’t stayed here in 20 something years. Was just a serene and beautiful as I remember. We will return much sooner this time. My 4 year old and I swam in the the lake and we all danced on the stage at the amphitheater.

“Quirky outdoor retreat”
Quirky accommodation with homemade bed and chair in a tent overlooking the lagoon Very peaceful until the coyotes howled and the ? racoons or bears ? set off my car alarm at 4am !! Lovely spot and great for a wilderness experience. Get out on the water if you can.

We had a lovely autumn stay at Ruby Lake Resort. It suited our family who usually camp, so we loved being in nature, watching the ducks and finding horse chestnuts to play with. There is plenty to do for a nature based holiday without having to leave the property, lovely walks, swimming, trees to climb and ponds to explore.

there was misleading information in the first place when I booked that cottage via Booking.com. I paid for 4 persons but after confirmation, the hotel charged me more because of the number of people.

Over the moon about the locale,...the lake, the lagoon, the animals, the woodsy landscaping, the air, the statues and structures. This place is a delight.
