I recently stayed at Madang Resort and was truly impressed by the level of care and professionalism from the staff. A special thank you to Joy Jaking, who went above and beyond to help me with a situation that happened during my stay. Her calm and understanding attitude, quick response, and genuine kindness turned what could have been a stressful moment into a positive experience. Joy truly represents the best of Madang Resort’s hospitality. I’d also like to acknowledge the six security guards who were on night shift on October 9th. They handled everything with professionalism, respect, and teamwork. Their presence made me feel safe and well looked after throughout the night. Madang Resort is a beautiful place, but it’s the people like Joy Jaking and the hardworking night security team who make it truly special. Thank you all for your outstanding service, I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this resort to others. Ronald Nathan

Prime location directly on the shore with a great view to Krangket Island and possibly Karkar volcano (if weather is clear) We stayed at the separate beachfront houses, which have a large, spacious room on two floor levels, a large balcony and a very effective air conditioning. Much nicer than the standard rooms in the main building with view to the parking lot. The restaurant upstairs from "haus win" has good aircon and a-la-carte menu. The "Catch-of-the-day" is always a good choice if you like fish with local-style veggies.

This place is tired. The food has gone down hill over the years considerably. With a few exceptions, most staf are poorly trained and perform poorly. For one of the supposed premier establishments in PNG they are well below par these days

“Good hotel , bit run down and needs some updating.”

Run down but great location , friendly staff . Hotel has beautiful grounds just needs some updating in the rooms.

The location is perfect. We stayed in the villa which met our expectations. I love the friendliness of the staff . The restaurant was great , I read some reviewers said it was costly but i didn't think so . The price of food is high anyway so we can't say it's costly. My family loved the meals especially the chefs specials which was a three course meal for K80.00 not bad. . I will also say honestly the hotel needs maintenance here and there but overall still my favourite place .

Meals in the restaurant was great. Pizza menu's were affordable. Pool and gym facilities were good too. The room was very comfortable with a great view.

We had a lovely stay in the Madang Resort! The garden around the hotel is very clean and you can walk around in the hole complex with a stunning view at the ocean and the little islands. The restaurant was very delicious and we really enjoyed the live music creating a relaxing athmosphere. The stuff was friendly and tried to help us organizing some tours. Due to the actual law and order situation in town everybody was understandable careful. They manage to set up a snorkeling tour. We went to an island and the reef there was so incredible beautiful, although very expensive! All in all we really recommend this hotel if you are in Madang, but hopefully they will offer more tour options and excursions, like they provided in former times (regarding to old prospects).
