This place exceeded the expectations of our whole family — mine, my wife’s, and our son’s. From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel truly welcome. They are incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Whenever we needed anything, they were always available — whether through WhatsApp or in person. They even welcomed us into their home, and we had the chance to learn a lot from them about local traditions and about Jordan in general. It’s a wonderful family with a great heart, and staying here gave us an authentic cultural experience that is hard to put into words. We arrived very late at night due to our flight, and the hosts still waited for us and took the time to explain everything calmly and thoroughly. Their hospitality alone made this stay unforgettable. It also helps that they speak excellent English, which made communication smooth and effortless. The location is fantastic: peaceful and quiet, yet perfectly situated — about 10 minutes by car from Madaba and also close to Amman. The apartment itself is comfortable and discreetly located, with plenty of space for parking. We also had access to a large terrace with a sofa swing, a cozy sitting area for enjoying coffee, and even the chance to play with the hosts’ adorable cats. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. For anyone wanting to connect with local culture, this type of accommodation is ideal. The added value of meeting such warm, open hosts is something you simply cannot overestimate. It makes arriving in a new country feel easy, safe, and truly enriching. As a family, we all agreed that this is the best place we have ever stayed — not just an apartment, but a place with real soul. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

“Extraordinary hospitality”

It was not just a comfortable two-night stay, but also an opportunity to experience the extraordinary hospitality of the family. We truly enjoyed the time, the evenings, and the conversations, and are very grateful for it. The garden was beautiful, and the baby cats were absolutely adorable. We were also invited to enjoy some very delicious tea and food. The family was very open-minded, curious, and welcoming.

“A GREAT LOCATION, AN UNFORGETTABLE STAY & A FAMILY ONE OF A KIND!”

Everything is perfect: - Top Location with a great view ( just outside of Madaba) - Great Welcome by two fantastic sisters - The family of 6 (mom, dad & 4 siblings) are super nice people, incredibly friendly and hospitable and made us feel part of the family ! - Mom & Dad invited us to have dinner with them, enjoyed tea & dessert! - We had an unforgettable evening, had nice conversations and lots of laughs, also Hanky-Panky thanx for a great evening! - It is very nice to be able to end our last day like this and hopefully we will meet again in the future! - Thank you family of Simple Home Jordan !!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

I think it was the best place we have ever stayed in. Ali and his family is incredibly kind and welcoming and made us feel like home. They have invited us for dinner, coffee and tea and chatted around the table for hours. Wish we could stayed a few more nights! Would certainly come back any time.

“Gorgeous”

We spent here our last night before traveling back to Hungary. The place was clean and comfortable, but most important that the hosts were really kind and friendly, we couldn’t have ask for better. We had a nice chat with the family and felt that we are part of it. We are very sorry that we could only spend one evening there. Absolutely recommend this place and we wish all the best to hosts. 😊

“Forget 5 star this is 6 star !”

I had the best time at Simple Home. The room was very large and very clean with everything you need. You also have access to a very large outdoor area with a hammock and fantastic views. But what made my stay special was the family, they were very friendly and made me feel like I am part of the family. We sat together drinking tea, playing chess and spoke for hours. The meals prepared were also delicious. Ali even took me to the Dead Sea, Main Spring and other sights around which made my trip very special. He even came to Amman to pick me up. I have stayed in many places using Airbnb and Booking and this has got to be the best place I have stayed in so far. It is unlike a hotel and more of a family home. I highly recommended staying here for a few nights. I will be visiting again for sure.

“Heart warming experience”

You won’t regret to book simple home, they are the most welcoming hosts that you could hope for. The apartment is beautiful and clean, the family’s that’s own it will really make you feel at home, in our short stay they helped us a lot and even cook a wonderful breakfast for us, thank you again for everything!

“Lovely flat in quiet location”

I stayed in this lovely flat near Madaba for one night. I have a few more nights in Jordan, and on the way back to the airport I want to stay again if the logistics work. The entire basement of the large house is yours :). Nice terrace in front of the flat for a nice sunrise view. The bed was very comfortable. I haven’t used the kitchen, but there are enough appliances for self-catering. The most amazing thing was the hospitality of the Jordanian family who owns the house. You’ll be treated like family and probably fed some amazing feed over a nice mint tea :). Absolutely loved sitting for 4 hours in the garden with the family and have a laugh. If you have a car, would definitely recommend driving 10-15 minutes outside Madaba and stay in this apartment. It will be more than just a stay.
