“Good location and friendly owners, but some details need attention”

This hotel is centrally located in Aguas Calientes, within walking distance of the Ministry of Culture office where Machu Picchu tickets can be purchased. This can be very convenient for travelers who prefer to arrange their tickets in person. The breakfast was early but it was good and provided everything we needed before a day of exploring the region. The owners also helped arrange a tour with an excellent guide for Machu Picchu. A special thanks to Luz, who kindly accompanied us and showed us exactly where to take the bus.

“Great option to stay a few nights and enjoy the town”

Very comfortable family owned hotel in the heart of the town. Just 1 minute away from the place where you can buy tickets. Comfortable new matrasses. Warm blanket. Very calm and easy to rest. There are plenty of dining options around. Also, the included breakfast is great and really big portion. Enjoy your stay and ask the owners a share the recomendations!

The staff was lovely. Yuri was the best host you can ask for, super helpful and kind. The location is amazing with a clear view to the sacred mountain. Will return for sure

“Great view, bed, hosts and location in Machu Oucchu”

Luz and her husband are lovely hosts and super helpful. They advised on local attractions and checked we were happy. It included breakfast every day. I do think comparing places now it was perhaps one of the more pricey places however Machu Picchu is generally pricey! If we got a twin room it would have been cheaper. It was worth the Mountain View, smart tv for the rain, WiFi and great shower pressure. We did chose a room with a. An extra large bed, and b. a fantastic Mountain View, c. They helped us by meeting us at the station and taking us to the line at the ministry of culture to buy last minute to Machu Picchu and d. They stored our luggage while buying our tickets and then for the day when we checked out. e. It’s 300m (around the corner) from the ministry of culture

“Lovely experience with warm hospitality and great location and nice view”

Incredible central location overlooking the main square, with beautiful mountain views. It is perfectly situated just off a busy street, allowing you to be close to everything while still enjoying a quiet room to rest. The beds were comfortable, there was always hot water, and the breakfast was good. The couple running the hostel are absolutely lovely — incredibly friendly and always happy to help with everything, from restaurant recommendations to booking bus tickets to Machu Picchu, giving general advice, and even arranging a private guide to Machu Picchu. They also stored our luggage after check-out and provided great local recommendations, being extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay.

“Good stay with beautiful view and confortqble bed”

Comfortable large bed, very nice view from the window, the staff was very polite, friendly, explained about Machu Picchu, what to have, when to start trip and did early special breakfast for us and let us put bags and saved our bags while we was in Machu Pichu

“A great launching point”

We had a stunning view in our room, and the hotel is a great, quiet location which is just a stone's throw from the buses to Machu Picchu. Our host gave great advice about how to get our tickets, and gave us a wonderful paper bag breakfast for our early departure.

Very nice owner! Gave me better room than I booked myself. Hot water never ran out, at least not for me.

Beautiful view. Great location.

The view from the room was lovely, you could see the main square and mountains. The beds were soft. And the shower was nice and hot. They staff held our bags for the day as we had a later time slot for machu picchu. The hostel was up a bit of stairs, and then the room was up more stairs, but the view was worth it.

“Comfortable, welcome and simply recommended”

We absolutely loooved the place! It is family run and good location. We’ve got the best room with an amazing view to the mountains. The room was clean and beautiful and had a hot water in the shower (we stayed in another location and the water was just cold hence the comment) , 24hr reception and staff was super helpful. Strongly recommend! We also had breakfast that was nice and we were aloud to keep our stuff at reception as long as needed. The reception has essentials sold at reception which was very handy after our hike as we needed some water and didn’t need to go anywhere to get it.

Staff was generally friendly.

Everything the service we had was excellent

The hosts are really helpful and nice. We even got snacks for the trip to Machu Picchu, becuase we started at 4:30 🙃 The luggage storage was quite handy for us. The room was clean and cosy.

The couple running the hostel are absolutely lovely. They are so friendly and happy to help with everything - restaurant recommendations, booking bus tickets to Machu Picchu, giving general advice for Machu Picchu, booking a private guide etc. The breakfast included was amazing too - fruits, egg, bread etc. - perfect meal before setting off to Machu Picchu. The room itself was great with a private bedroom and a view of the scenery outside. The hostel was spotless and in a great location.

Location was good except the stairs.
