“Room with a view but with broken stuff”
The only nice room is the one with a view to the river but also to the train rails. Big room, comfy beds. Nearby the train station, market and buses to Machupichu.

Nice little Hostel next to the train station. We had a room facing another house, so no views, but also no noise from the train. The bed was huge and comfy and the bathroom nice with good hot shower. Breakfast was surprisingly good for the price.

“great little hotel”
The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, friendly staff..clean and good value for money..Close to shops, train and river.. The train can be noisy, but the big sliding doors block it out quite well..We had a storm on our last night, which was great to open the doors, listen to the rain and river below..

“Very bad hostel, my worse experience ever ! Don’t choose it !”
The hotel (which is rather an hostel) is conveniently located near the train station and the room has a balcony overlooking the mountain (for which I paid extra) The staff (Brenda) was kind enough to bring my luggage to the station at the time of my departure as I had limited time to catch the train after the visit of Macchu Picchu

“If you want to spend a night here, beware of what you are expecting.”
The location is good, pretty close to restaurants and the train station. The bedroom has a comfortable bed and a hot shower.

I recently stayed at a hotel USGAR Machupicchu Boutique, in Aguas Calientes and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the room was spacious with a very comfortable king-sized bed. The view from the room was lovely, and the bathroom was generally nice. Breakfast was adequate, offering the basics to start the day, but nothing exceptional. The standout feature of this hotel was the amazing and very helpful staff who went out of their way to assist with any requests or questions. Thank you for this experience!

Location, view from balcony Staff met us at the train station and were happy to bring us first on a detour to the Ministry of Culture for Machu Picchu tickets before heading to the hotel

“There are better options, don’t be tricked by the mountain view…”
Mountain view only if you stay at the upper floors. But then the whole town is surrounded by mountains so surely there are other hotels.
