The staff were friendly and very helpful. A couple boys met me at the train and helped me with my bags. The sound of the river at night was amazing, like white noise.

This is the end unit on the busy street so at night is nice and quiet. Right next to thermal pools. Also on the same street as the ticket office for Machu picchu. Breakfast is ok - kind of standard. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable with nice big windows. Bathroom is clean and spacious. They even supplied us with extra heater one night when it was very cold . .

Our short stay here was great! The staff was super helpful and they even came to pick us up at the train station at our arrival! Room clean and comfortable, delicious breakfast available early in the morning was perfect for our early reservation to Machu Picchu! Highly recommended

Room and bathroom clean. Staff very friendly - they helped us carrying our bags from the station because the property is at the top of the hill! They prepared breakfast to go for 4am and kept our bags for the day. If you are on a budget this is your place

Quiet, great location, nice pillows and beds. Extremely accommodating people working there. Room was humid and I was given a dehumidifier to use when I brought the issue up. The restaurant right below also has good food.

We had a great stay here for our night before Machu Picchu. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made the stay very smooth. We were able to have an early breakfast (5am) and leave our bags there for the day after check out. The location is a bit out of the main town centre (pretty much the last hotel up the valley) but to be honest it was nice to be away from the noise/bustle and was only around 10 mins walk up a slight hill. The room was nice, big and clean and while there was some mould and musty smells (particularly 2 of 4 of our pillows had a funny smell) that is just apart of being in such a humid and warm town at high altitude so it didn’t really bother us. By all accounts this is an issue in all the hotels in the town so what can you do. Overall a great stay for the night, very comfortable and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

The workers were very friendly and assisted us with all our concerns. The beds were comfortable and the blankets provided enough warmth. This hotel is on the north-eastern most past of the village, meaning it’s a short walk from the waterfalls and hot springs. It‘s farther from the loud train tracks. The sound of the river is very relaxing. The climate in Aguas Calientes is rather damp, but thanks to the staff, we always had a change of towels when we needed them.
